The Ordinary has firmly cemented itself as a leader in science-backed skin care. Taking the guesswork out of building a regime, it ditches unnecessary, filler ingredients for familiar, hard-working actives that deliver promising results. A case in point is the Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% (30ml), a gentle serum designed to smooth, brighten and plump.
Want to improve the appearance of dull, lacklustre skin while you sleep? Cue The Ordinary's Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres (30ml) treatment.
At the centre of this water-free formula is L-ascorbic acid (AKA the purest form of vitamin C) which remains completely stable due to the absence of water. Famed for its brightening abilities, this acid reduces the appearance of an uneven skin tone and dark spots. That's not all though; with the infusion of hyaluronic acid spheres, this treatment also hydrates and plumps the skin. It's ideal to use at bedtime, so you can wake up with a radiant, supple and more youthful-looking complexion.
Ascorbic Acid, Squalane, Isodecyl Neopentanoate, Isononyl Isononanoate, Coconut Alkanes, Ethylene/Propylene/Styrene Copolymer, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Glucomannan, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Butylene/Ethylene/Styrene Copolymer, Acrylates/Ethylhexyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Trihydroxystearin, Bht.
For the latest information, it is recommended to review the ingredient list printed on the packaging of the product prior to usage or consumption.
Apply a small amount to the face once daily, ideally in the evening. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes. Use sun protection during the day. A tingling sensation can be expected; if the sensation is too strong, the formula can be mixed with other oils of your preference before each application to reduce the strength.

Broke me out
It broke me out as soon as i added it to my routine. Stopped using it for a couple months then started using it again and it broke me out again.

miracle product
I've been using this product for the last 5 months. I use it in my PM routine. The product has a weird texture and smell, makes you feel your skin almost greasy but the results after one week are amazing. Less blemishes, less red spots and a brighter and more uniform skin

hate it
Purchased as a replacement for the Drunk Elephant C Firma - which I liked a lot but oh the price! £££! Well I guess you get what you pay for because am not a fan of this at all - read the reviews again after being displeased by the texture so started to use it at night only, which does work better.... but honestly my skin is now dryer and broken out in areas it never has before. I've been persevering as hoped it was just a phase of getting used to it but I'm throwing in the towel now. The hunt continues for an affordable vitamin c!

Gritty texture and discoloured my palms!
The texture is awful, be careful using it for the first time as you don’t expect it to feel like your rubbing your face with sandpaper. (I only used a pea-sized amount for my full face). Very greasy and does not absorb. I carried on using it as wanted to see if the results were worth it however after a couple of weeks it left my palms an orange stained colour. Similar to as if I had applied fake tan?! Rather strange as this did not happen on my face.

Love! Just use it right..
I do not use this in the daytime! I use this before bed and wake up with incredible skin every time. Yes, it’s gritty, yes, it tingles and no, it’s not rammed full of perfumes. Just know that and go with it anyway - don’t attempt to use it under your make up (unless you like a full routine every day) if you want to get up and go with smoother, even toned, poreless skin, use it at night.

Gritty, stings and makeup is a no no
The texture is quite runny but then gritty on the skin. Makes my skin tingle whereas others I have used don’t do that. Putting makeup on after this is impossible

No no no
Awful. It’s grainy, it smells horrible and it just seems to sit on my skin for hours. It doesn’t get adsorbed in my skin at all. What a disappointment.

Good Value
Another no fuss no drill product from The Ordinary. It worked well and is good value for money. Would repurchase.

Unsure
Listen I like what this product gives when I do a full skin routine but I have a few issues with it. 1 it’s more an itchy burn sensation than a tingle. sometimes it actually hurts, it’s also very oily and gritty when applying to the skin. but nonetheless, I use it with oil’s moisturisers and cleansers and my skin has improved massively. so it really depends on whether you can deal with the application!
