This is a staple in my night time skincare routine. My skin loves squalane, it’s so hydrating and nourishing, making this is the only retinol I’ve used that doesn’t dry my skin out. I’ve been doing a 3 day skin cycle for a couple of months so use it 1 night out of 3 but I did use it daily for over a year with no issues. My skin is plump, glowing, fine lines have lessened, previously problem pores are clearer. BUT… start on the lowest percentage and build up if you are new to retinol. And again, if you are starting out with retinol please know your skin will purge… ie) spots.. blackheads.. pimples under the skin. It gets worse before it gets better. Read up on it so you know what you can expect. Also read up on what active ingredients you can use together. :)

Good beginner retinol!
This was my first retinol I had tried out - Personally, I think there are better ones out there but you can't really fault it for the price point. I felt like it was a little too oily for my liking (although this is to be expected due to the squalene!) so I prefer other formulas but I think this brand does great 'beginner retinol' for those who are starting out.

I've been using this product for two years now, along with Hyaluronic Acid 2% +B5, Retinol 1% in Squalane, and the Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG. I am 65 years old going to be 66 soon.
