I always have an extra one. It's my go to for post break outs. In just a few days it diminished the look of recent acne scars or even helps with the healing so it doesn't become a scar. I must say they changed the name and the packaging recently and it seems like the old one worked even quicker, but maybe my skin is juist getting used to the product.
