Cult Beauty’s Christmas Wishlists: Alison

Bella Freud Votive Gift Set

We’ve canvassed Team CB to find out which products they’re wishing for this Christmas. First up, Alison – our Head of Merchandising – talks us through which gorgeous things she’s got her beauty-savvy eyes on…

“You can never go wrong with a beautiful candle and Bella Freud‘s {1970} is my favourite by far – I was there in the 70s and this is pretty much exactly what is smelled like! Failing that, I wouldn’t turn my nose up at the {Votive Gift Set} – four matte black candles in miniature, two of which I might be generous enough to part with. Or, I might not…

“I’m similarly besotted with {By Terry} – I’d be happy with pretty much anything, but if I had to choose, it would be the limited edition {Eye Designer Palette} in shade ‘Magnet Eyes’. I definitely do not need it, but I definitely desperately want it.

“Susanne Kaufmann’s {Advent Calendar} is amazing – gorg, gorg, gorg! And the very last word in luxury. However, if my givers were not feeling quite that generous, I guess I’d ‘make do’ with the stunning {Oil Bath for the Senses} – it’s exquisite!

“Kits of minis are a perfect present and a brilliant way to discover a new beauty brand. I cannot believe I’ve never really sampled the marvelous {Tata Harper} and so would welcome her beloved {Daily Essentials} – a collection of her bestsellers in deluxe trial sizes.

OR, Omorovicza’s {Introductory Kit} – an all-star line-up of must-haves which I’d take along on a spa break (note to self: must book spa break).

“And last, but by no means least, I definitely want ANYTHING from {Deborah Lippmann}. Just anything. It is my favourite nail brand EVER.”

Worried that you’ll have to fake a ‘happy face’ this Christmas? All can be avoided with our ‘wishlist’ functionality. Simply ‘pin’ desired products to your wishlist using the ‘heart’ icon on the top right of the product page. You can log in to your account to edit, then email all your efforts to that somebody who owes you one (or many).
