Born out of one woman’s frustration, AMELIORATE’s creator Annette was desperate to transform her ‘chicken skin’ arms. The first step for scalps in crisis, AMELIORATE’s Clarifying Shampoo refreshes tresses while protecting and replenishing essential moisture to your hair and scalp.
Formulated to have a mild pH, the gentle blends cleanses and deeply nourishes your mane: replenishing your scalp’s protective barrier with sustained use. Saturated with two types of prebiotics - lactitol and xylitol – to help the production of probiotics (the good bacteria that supports our skin’s microbiome), it encourages a more balanced scalp. Leaving your lengths and scalp silky smooth, the innovative, proprietary LaH6 Skin Hydration Complex is comprised of oat-based hydrating ingredients that are clinically proven to moisturise for up to 8 hours in wash off products. The results? A soothed (and flake-free!) scalp with lustrous, shiny tresses.
Apply to wet hair and massage into a lather. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and follow with AMELIORATE Smoothing Conditioner. Suitable for everyday use.

It works!
After trying a number of shampoos …mostly disappointing…I was delighted to find that this one works….took 3 washes but very pleased.

Not quite sure
I like the concept of this product and being mindful of product build up I wanted to try a clarifying shampoo. My hair tends to need 1 wash first before the shampoo really lathers, I found I had to use quite a bit of product to feel that it was getting to my roots. This might be an individual thing, but I didn’t feel like my hair stayed feeling clean for as long as a normal wash. The smell is really nice, but might be a bit strong for some. The cap is a flip top and was easy to open, but this might not be everyone’s preference.

Gentle on the hair and scalp
It is often that when you use a clarifying shampoo that it strips everything off your scalp and hair leaving it clean but DRY with a minty scent. Which as a consequence lead the scalp to produce oil faster. Now this clarifying feels like any other shampoo as you dont feel the roughness post shower leaving your hair clean and soft! also, the scent is very calming!!

Finally a shampoo that's kind to the scalp
No more flaky, itchy scalp with Ameliorate Clarifying Shampoo. Doesn't strip oil from the roots so the skin is not dehydrated. Cannot recommend highly enough.

No more flakes
I bought this for my boyfriend who was suffering from a really flaky dry scalp. After a week - no more white dusting on jumpers; when you run fingers through hair there is no dryness and it has transformed his scalp/hair.

Shocking
This might be the worst shampoo I’ve ever used - it does not get the hair clean whatsoever. I’ve used it 3 times and have had to use so much I’m already halfway through the bottle and my hair still isn’t clean when I wash it!

Amazing product
This really helps my scalp but doesn't wreck my hair. I often have to use T-Gel but this is WAY better. Smells good, and makes my scalp behave for way longer.
