The perfect SOS treatment for angry breakouts, this Blemish Rescue Oil – Tamanu and Salicylic is formulated with 2% salicylic acid and soothing tamanu oil to help skin recover without over-drying.
The clever blend penetrates pores and dissolves dead skin cells, calms and reduces redness and inflammation, while speeding up healing and minimising scarring (basically everything you want from a blemish treatment). Developed to improve blemish recovery time, this miracle worker will leave skin soft, healed and heathy with no angry redness in sight. Co-founder Arabella Preston says, ‘This little oil is a life-saver! Blemishes disappear much faster if you don’t dry them out.’ Trust us, you can take her word for it.
Place 1 drop of oil on a fingertip and apply in a gentle circular motion to the area affected. Do this twice a day, after cleansing, until your skin has recovered.

Best blemish treatment
This is brilliant, if you use it at the first sign it clears up spots overnight without dryness or irritation. Can’t be without it.

Another winner!
After using Tamanu oil in the past and seeing good results I was keen to give this a go. Its a great blend of oils and is so gentle but effective. Would recommend to those struggling with hormonal breakouts.

Great pimple remover in an oil form
The Votary Blemish Oil removes the pimples without drying out the skin. Great product.

never without it
Excellent oil to use on pimples without drying them out. Helps to speed up the healing of the irritated skin, and the salicylic acid works on the pimples. Highly recommend.

Good for spots
I do really like this. It’s not a miracle worker - it’s not going to make your spots vanish overnight instantly but it definitely helps calm them down and get rid of them faster. It’s expensive but I think it will last a very long time

Teenage Skin
When applied to spots, it removes redness and addresses acne without drying. I use Paula’s Choice Salicylic Acid (grey bottle) first, let dry, then moisturise, let dry, then tap Votary Blemish Rescue on top. Provides comfort to the skin, but not greasy.

Great stuff
Use a little it goes a long way , I've sensitive skin with uneven skin tone & I'm peri menopausal, this has kept my skin in better condition & hasn't up set my skin in anyway as i thought an oil might very moisturizering

no immediate results
This was one of the products Caroline Hirons made me buy. I also admire the whole Votary brand and its philosophy. Regarding this blemish rescue oil, I should say it is extremely mild and does not dry out the skin. You would not see the fast results, though. It keeps the skin calm and deep cystic pimples less aggressive.

One of the best
this is definitely one of the best products i tried in a very long time. I love the smell of it, but the best thing is that it actually works- of course it takes time but over continuous usage it leaves my skin scar/blemish/spots free

Amazing
This product is amazing. I find it to be the best product to clear random stress spots that pop up on my chin. It takes a couple of days to clear it and I find I’m not having as many outbreaks. Which I’m not sure could be linked to this product or that I have begun investing in my skincare routine much more. Would recommend!
