Good Starter Retinol
5This retinol is one I’ll always repurchase! I’ve given it a 5 stars due to its consistency, which makes it a tiny bit difficult to work with. However, I’ve seen my smile lines and the overall appearance of my skin become tighter and smoother. Would recommend starting with the 0.5 strength first though for newbies

5First time using this product and I love it! I have dry skin and find most foundations stick to dry patches and my face starts to look powdery. This looked flawless after 7 hours, super hydrating and glowy. Really pleased! Plus it has better coverage than I anticipated, like your skin but better (you could still see my freckles but it hid my redness).Â

Good but not for beginners
3This is the first retinol I tried and I really liked it when I first used it, it made my skin (acne prone, on the oilier side, abit sensitive) feel so soft and clear the next day! But as I did my evening routine using minimal products, I realised *everything* made my face skin. I stayed using the retinol once a week sometimes longer and I think it causes my skin to become very sensitive. I didn't use it for a month, when I tried again, my skin is suffering (redness, increased sensitivity). I think this percentage may be a bit too strong for beginners and/or for people with easily bothered skin! But if you're a seasoned retinol user I imagine this is very effective!Â
