This stellar serum works hard to minimise the look of fine lines, dark spots and blemishes, while improving skin texture and tone... and we'd be happy with that, but there's more. Apply a small amount to the face in the evening, after water serums but before heavier treatments. Do not use with other retinoid treatments and avoid unprotected sun exposure. Store in a cool, dry place.

I actually found this very gentle on my skin, maybe because of the oil formulation. Over time, it helped to keep my skin bright.

Nightly renewal
This retinol serum is a game-changer for my skin. It helps with fine lines and makes my skin look so much smoother. The squalane keeps it from being too harsh. Definitely a staple in my nighttime routine.

This is an oil, not a serum, but it is a lightweight but effective oil! After a full bottle, you should get a smoothing effect, but it won't give you a face lift, Rome wasn't built in a day! Great for the price, so it's good to purchase continually if possible, for longer term results!

worth it
my skin purged straight after using this but i persevered through and now it has never looked better it took about a month for me to notice a real difference but my overall skin tone and texture has never been better will def repurchase once it’s run outÂ

Generally good
Good starter retinol especially as it has squalane. I wasn’t fond of the texture as it’s quite oily, and I prefer cream retinols, but for dry skin this would be great!

Still the best!
Temporarily switched to a Boots 'Ingredients' retinol out of curiosity after regularly using this, and the two just don't compare. Much prefer the texture and effect from The Ordinary!

I have used and liked the 0.2% thought I’d try a higher dosage but didn’t seem to get any results.
