A powerhouse form of vitamin A housed in soothing squalane, the Retinol Serum 0.5% in Squalane (30ml) encourages cell turnover, revealing healthier, softer skin.
This stellar serum works hard to minimise the look of fine lines, dark spots and blemishes, while improving skin texture and tone... and we'd be happy with that, but there's more. Supported by squalane (a moisturising ingredient naturally found in your skin) you can expect your complexion to appear smooth and hydrated, with any dryness that can come with retinol use being reduced. Apply a small amount to the face in the evening, after water serums but before heavier treatments. Do not use with other retinoid treatments and avoid unprotected sun exposure. Store in a cool, dry place.

Powerful serum!
An amazing serum with a touch of retinol which helps to fade wrinkles and is quite sensitive to your skin too! The Ordinary skincare products are great for your skin at amazing prices also.

The ordinary Retinol 0.5%
It did improve my skin's smoothness, but didn't meet my expectations compared to other retinols. I also found the texture a bit too oily.re too, its a bit oily.

Great Step-up
I moved from the Versed 0.25% gentle retinol starter onto this after a year of using the versed. It was a great and easy transition for my very sensitive, combination skin. I use once every three days alongside my Ordinary squalene cleansers and Thank You Farmer sensitive sunscreen. Great and simple combo. If you have sensitive skin this is a great step up. Less is always more. I wish there was a smaller size of bottle though.

Good price, gentle formula, no irritation occurred. A bit oily but gets the job done if you don't mind. Don't forget the SPF!
