With a high 0.2% concentration of retinal, the Retinal 0.2% Emulsion (15ml) achieves healthier-looking skin by delivering a more direct delivery of vitamin A than retinol.
Working to improve the appearance of pigmentation and fine lines and wrinkles, this superior emulsion also helps to refine skin texture, leaving it soft and smooth. Gaining its colour from the high concentration of retinal (which is naturally yellow), this must-have offsets the common side effects of retinoids with avenanthramide (a key ingredient found in oats) to reduce the feeling of skin discomfort and dryness. Apply a pea size amount to a clean, dry face and neck in the evening, avoiding the eye contour. Start using once a week and gradually increase to twice a week, a few days apart. Apply a moisturiser afterwards and do not use with any other retinoids.

Stains clothing and sheets
Unfortunately I cannot continue using this, this has such a strong yellow color that my clothes and sheets have a yellow tinge to them after one night of using this, even after moisturizing after application. I bought this for my neck and chest and absolutely cannot use it anymore as I’ll need to wash my sheets everyday if I do. It stains just like tumeric. I cannot imagine anyone with light colored sheets and pillowcases enjoying thisÂ

Gentle but strong
I'm an experienced retinal user, and love the ordinary products anyway, so I was glad when they released their 2% retinal serum. Absolutely satisfied, I upgraded from the 1% from another brand and this is just great. However, even though retinal is more gentle than retinol, new users should start with lower percentage to avoid irritation, this is for advanced users

Never used something like this before, but now it's a must have. Great at evening skin tone and lines, noticed results even after 2 weeks of use. A little goes a long way!

I have been using this for a few weeks and have noticed a difference to my skin. It’s a slightly stronger retinol so definitely be cautious about how many times a week you use it. I love it!!

Easy to use
This project is PERFECT for beginners. It’s a slightly stronger retinol so definitely be cautious about how many times a week you use it, but the pump disperses the PERFECT amount of product and it goes onto the skin so easily. I love it!!Â

Too early to say
I've only been using this a couple of weeks, I've developed a small patch of little breakouts so I'm hoping this is just the retinal purge before the good stuff!!

Great value
I've been using this for many weeks now and I'm quite impressed with the results. Will definitely be buying again. I've been using retinol for many years and felt it was time to find a stronger product and the Ordinary is an affordable option that's been well worth the money for me so far. I introduced this quite slowly and built up the frequency over time and have had no problems with irritation etc. My skin definitely looks more even and glowy the morning after I've used it.
