Starring its namesake, glycolic acid (an alpha hydroxy acid), this water-based toning solution is your new go-to for effective yet mild exfoliation. It's infused with a Tasmanian pepperberry derivative to help reduce redness, alongside hydrating ginseng and soothing aloe vera. The results? Refined and improved texture and tone, a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and our favourite: a luminous complexion.
Contraindications: This formula should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Please refer to additional sun protection note and other warnings in provided.
Use ideally in the PM, no more frequently than once per day. After cleaning, saturate a cotton pad with the formula and sweep across face and neck. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes. Do not rinse off. Continue with additional skin treatments as needed. If persistent irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician. (Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards. Use only as directed. Good for exfoliating dead skin
Used this on my brother as he had this patch of dead skin on his neck and it helped exfoliate and brighten the area. Stay out of the sun after using and don’t forget SPF when you go out!Â

This is great and really versatile, I use it all over my body when my skin is really dry, and top with a moisturiser. It also works for any odour under the arms too as a deodorant. Would recommend, just giving 4 stars as it is a but harsh if used more than once a week.

Love the Ordinary but not really for me
As far as toners I think it’s a great product, in terms of texture and ease of use. I love The Ordinary products but don’t think this one is quite for me - it didn’t donwnuthung for my skin.Â
