Really nice and soothing on your skin
5This is really nice and soothing, I use it when I'm having a bad time with my spots. It really helps to just calm down your skin, and even if it doesn't reduce the appearance of your spots, it helps to take some of the soreness out of your skin

An excellent oil in formulations but does not work for me on its own
2I love borage oil as an ingredient in my face creams - works miracles for rebalancing oily skin but unfortunately on its own it is too heavy for me. Sits on top of skin unpleasantly. I use it for my nails now instead.

Good moisturiser but I hate the smell
2I have dry skin especially in winter and purchased this to try something new and because I don’t have a huge budget. However it smells like bacon grease. At first I thought it was just me but my partner smelled it and said the same. I will be using this until it’s finished but I definitely would not purchase it again.

I would like to like it but I use it for my nails..
2I am not a great fan of The Ordinary philosophy and this is one of the products that does not find its place in my routine. I am very fond of borage seed oil but this doesn't go well with my creams or on its own. I will not repurchase - better to find ready formulas with borage seed oil in cream.

Horrible smell
1I have just received the oil recently. The smell of it is so bad that I cannot stand it. I will not purchase it again.

Amazing
5I used to use rosehip oil religiously but it isn't enough for my skin in the winter and now my skin is less oily with age. Borage oil leaves my skin plumply hydrated and so glowy! The scent is strange at first but at least it's natural. I love it and will continue using it.
