I moved from the Versed 0.25% gentle retinol starter onto this after a year of using the versed. It was a great and easy transition for my very sensitive, combination skin. I use once every three days alongside my Ordinary squalene cleansers and Thank You Farmer sensitive sunscreen. Great and simple combo. If you have sensitive skin this is a great step up. Less is always more. I wish there was a smaller size of bottle though.

Good introduction to retinol
If you've never tried a retinoid before, this is a great beginner product, this is the first retinoid I used, its one of the weaker types, so its not a retinal/retinaldehyde and its much weaker than prescription, plus its in Squalane so you shouldn't really react to it, easy to build up a tolerance. I do find it feels a little greasy, because it's an oil, some people might like that, but I put it under moisturiser. The only thing is the dropper does mean it exposes it to oxidisation, which is fine for this kind of retinol, but I prefer something that seals better. Good starter product.
