Nice powder
I have combo/oily skin so I need my powder to mattify but often that leaves me looking dry. This powder doesn't do that unless I overuse it. With a light hand it's perfect. It blurs too. It could do better at hiding my pores though. The light shade suits my NC15 complexion well. I love the packing too, much easier to use than other loose powders I've tried before.

Really wanted to love this one
I had high hopes for this one but it just dosnt sit well with my skin type for some reason. It accentuates texture when dusted lightly. And I don’t really have dry skin, more combo. - I do try to use it as blotting, by pressing it in, which works a bit better but won’t be a repurchase even do I love RMS.

Not the one for dry skin
I had such high hopes for this with it having glycerin and thought that would be great for my dry skin but it just clung to my dry patches and no matter how I prepped my skin or applied the powder, it just didn’t sit right on me.

Finally a powder convert
As someone with dry skin I've never been a fan of powder makeup, but this has become one of my favourite products. It reduces shine from my sunscreen but still leaves my face glowy and smooth. On most days I only use a bit of concealer and then finish with setting spray and this powder. I will say that it's quite pricey and I agree with other reviewers that the packaging could be better, but personally I haven't had major issues with it.

I’ve just bought and received the Hydra Setting Powder in Light. The powder itself is everything I hoped it would be – super fine and soft, natural appearance, blurs imperfections, not too much colour, less dry and therefore more comfortable than the previous iteration (‘Un’ Powder). I no longer feel the need to wear foundation, just concealer. However, the packaging REALLY lets the product down. Firstly, there’s a lot of plastic, with no attempt to make the packaging more sustainable, e.g. by using perhaps cardboard, bamboo, aluminium (with low packaging refills). Secondly, the plastic topper covering the powder is an enigma. It has a little flip-up bit (covering the RMS stencil holes) that is really difficult to open, especially without also pulling off the main plastic lid beneath it and accidentally spilling the powder. This packaging makes no practical sense and it’s hard to see how RMS allowed this to happen. I have just had to buy a different compact to distil the powder into, which is more unnecessary packaging, more waste and more money. RMS, please, please have a rethink. The lack of thought and care about this is, for the first time, making me question the brand's values.

RMS are the only makeup products I wear so I was disappointed to discover they’d replaced the Unpowder with this when I ran out, until I tried it. This is even better! I use the medium shade and find that’s a great colour match over my 22 Uncoverup. Flawless, silky finish that like all RMS products is brilliantly buildable. LOVE.

Ultra fine setting powder, lovely to use and not drying. Packaging is sleek and well thought out with separation of the sponge applicator. However, it’s difficult to get an even distribution of powder out of the container because the powder lid is stamped with the initials RMS. It’d be much better if it was just evenly spaced holes hence the 4 stars.
