I ummed and ahed about buying this in the shade First Dance for ages cause I was worried the colour wouldn’t suit me, but luckily it’s just perfect! I have fairly strong features with very dark hair and eyebrows, so red or bright lipsticks can accentuate them a bit too much sometimes. First Dance is a cool berry pink, which can look a bit more intense and hot pink when you build it up. It’s very similar to the CT lip liner in MI Kiss, but different enough if you want to justify having both, haha! I swatched this next to Amazing Amal and AA has some deeper blue-violet undertones, with a bit of an 80s twist, I thought. The formula is really nice too - I wear it with a bit of lip balm underneath and it makes my lips look nice and plump. And the sparkly tube is super cute! Very happy with it.

A beautiful Matt lipstick, but then I love all CT lipsticks. This one in particular I dab over the Pillow Talk lipstick, if I’m wanting a darker shade, but not quite the fullness of First Dance.
