A great way to add instant body to ‘second day’ hair, Velvet Texture Clay provides non-greasy ‘oomph’ to limp locks that could desperately do with some ‘va va voom’. With a matte finish and featherweight, non-sticky feel, this gives ‘guts’ to cropped styles or some super-cool, Courtney Love texture to mid-lengths and ends for some ‘90s grunge-glamour. Delectably scented – an evocative blend of log fires, musk, moss and warm cedarwood (Larry calls it ‘Autumn Fog’) – this perfect pomade is contained in a gorgeous glass jar while its beautiful box is suffused with a medley of wildflower seeds so that should it wind up where it probably shouldn’t, the carton will sow some new blooms as it biodegrades.
Rub a pea-sized amount between your hands, as if you’re using hand cream. For shorter lengths, rub throughout your hair, working from the back to the front. Imagine you’re running your hands over velvet, pushing the pile in all different directions. For mid-lengths and ends, rub hair between the palms of your hands back and forth. Once the product is thoroughly distributed you’re free to work your style into shape.

Picked this up during Black Friday when I was stocking up on my usual hair bits for my boyfriend who is always either asking me to restyle his hair or stealing my products and expensive k18 oil .. Love Larry King, the ethos and the brands range of products. This smells amazing. It is super easy to use, even for those who are adamant they don't know how to style their hair. Works really great on second day curly hair for a bit more hold and texture. The matte texture of this makes it super versatile for use and is actually quite hydrating too. Bf was so pleased with this that I ended up trying for myself and have loved it for slick back ponies and adding texture to second day waves.. Guess I will now being stealing this!

A nice hair clay
My partner used to not put anything in his hair and he's now on his third pot of this texture clay. It styles his curly hair subtly and brushes out nicely - doesn't leave a residue.

okay so at first this was so hard and I was like???? However, I used an old little scoop from an old face mask and scooped into my hand and then warmed up in hands and used for a slick pony and it stayed all day!

Great product
Bought this for my husband twice already as he really enjoys using it. He has quite a lot of hair and they are also fluffy so this texture clay keeps it all under control for him.

Loving it on my fine hair
I’ve always had problems with many such stying product as I have baby fine, straight and thinning hair. Not this. A very little goes a long way to add texture. It’s non greasy too.
