Give skin a deep cleanse with the Micro-Peeling Purifying Gel Wash from French skincare brand La Roche-Posay’s Effaclar range, targeted at oily, blemish and acne-prone skin. The foaming body and facial wash is specially formulated for persistent and stubborn imperfections.
Enriched with a blend of powerful actives including Salicylic Acid (2%), LHA (0.05%), Zinc (0.2%) and La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring water, the cleanser works to decongest clogged pores of bacteria and impurities that can lead to excess sebum production and breakouts. Performing a micro-exfoliation to gently, yet effectively, purge skin of daily pollutants and acne-inducing bacteria, the purifying wash refreshes skin from top to toe with its gentle, alcohol-free formula. Holy grail cleanser for oily/combo skin
This will always be my favourite cleanser. I’ve used it for around four years now, all year long, and it’s been the best for my combination/oily skin. The bottle lasts ages and doesn’t strip or irritate my skin which is a bonus as some cleansers for oily skin can feel too abrasive. This is the perfect blend and my forever holy grail.

I have been buying this cleanser since it came out! It’s gentle, doesn’t leave my skin dry and has helped with my acne. I also use this in the shower, so it’s a great 2in1 product.Â

Good value
I love la Roche-Posay products and this one is in the top three of my list. It has a gentle peeling effect and doesn't dry out my skin. I even use it on my body from time to time.

This is a really good product, doesn’t dry out the skin. I use on face and body. Don’t expect it to remove acne, you need retinol for that

A good deep clean
Such a good cleanser to wash off the dirt from the day, gives a deep clean but might be too harsh if you have dry skin

I really like that this comes in such as big bottle, as I bought it because I wanted a body cleanser containing salicylic acid. So far, I have not seen drastic results, but I guess patience is key here! It’s really foamy which I like for a body cleanser. I think for the face, it might be a bit harshÂ

Great staple product
Love love love this product. Been using it for years now and will not go without it. It’s great for acne prone skin and not too harsh that it can’t be used everyday. It’s a great cleanser and I often use it on my entire body every now and then.
