Formulated with blemish-prone and oily skin types in mind, the Effaclar H Iso-Biome Moisturiser (40ml) is a minimal ingredient, ultra-hydrating moisturiser.
Housed in a gentle formula with a physiological pH, the look of blemishes and pigmentation are lessened, and the appearance of skin discomfort reduced. Skin is kept hydrated for up to 48 hours thanks to vitamin B5, squalane and glycerin, with the look of dryness and redness improved. You have aqua posae filiformis, a prebiotic biomass, to thank for helping to create a stronger-looking skin barrier, leading to a softer-than-soft complexion that appears healthy and glowing.
Apply morning and evening onto cleansed skin.

Does the job
As I’m using tretinoin I wanted to simplify the rest of my routine to avoid irritation. This moisturiser is simple but effective.

Perfect for fussy skin
I’m on EpiDuo for occasional cystic acne, but I also have quite reactive skin which tends to get flaky and red when exposed to anything it even vaguely dislikes. My dermatologist recommended this and I will never use anything else. Previously I needed to supplement or change moisturisers between seasons but this keeps my skin perfectly balanced and happy. Top tip: cut the tube open when you think you’re done. It has lots left. If you cut it in half, you can fold the tube in on itself and use the top half as a ‘hat’. Lasts for at least a week longer. Â
