Great clean retinol alternative
Effective clean retinol alternative. I stopped using retinol quite some time ago when I realised it’s endocrine disrupting properties and am always on the lookout for good ‘clean’ alternatives that actually work. This fits into the category along with herbivore moon fruit mask. Recommend.Â

Gentle but effective
As someone who found various retinol products too strong for my sensitive skin, this plant-based alternative is perfect. It’s gentle and does not aggravate my skin, even with regular use. I use it every evening after cleansing and toning, under moisturiser and it definitely helps keeps skin tight and smooths out very fine lines on my forehead and around eyes and mouth. Only reason it isn’t five stars is the price and the fact that the solution is thick, so doesn’t always work properly with the pipette system in the bottle.
