Coming from a long line of luxury cognac brewers, Kilian Hennessy was never a stranger to decadent, sophisticated aromas. Throughout his childhood, the syrupy, woody scent of “the angel's share” (the evaporation from cognac cellars) shadowed him, and this can be seen in his fragrances today: many of his signature scents give a nod to the sweet sugar of alcohol and the wood of cognac barrels. One of the most experienced noses in the industry, Kilian prioritises the environment (each bottle can be refilled and kept for a lifetime), elegance and timeless luxury above anything else. The 'Angels' Share' Liquor perfume is said to be Kilian's most personal creation yet, inspired by his eighth-generation inheritance of cognac-making savoir faire. Equal parts woody and sweet with a delicious hint of spice - don't be surprised if you turn heads when wearing it.

In a first-time collaboration with French perfumer Benoit Lapouza, the delicious notes of Angels Share mimic the heady fragrance that comes as a by-product to the evaporation process within cognac cellars. This cocktail stars liquor-derived essence of cognac, cognac oil and oak absolute - all wrapped around sweeter notes of cinnamon essence and tonka bean absolute - finished with a delicate trio of sandalwood, praline and vanilla. A nod to the syrupy sweetness of alcohol and the heady wood of cognac barrels, this multifaceted and androgynous fragrance will enhance and intoxicate come day or night.
Start by spraying it on your pulse points: behind the ears, wrists, ankles. It will rise in spirals around your body. Then spray a scent halo around your neck, head and hair.

I keep coming back
I’m a fragrance girly and love unique scents. If I love something, I keep going back until it becomes popular as we don’t want to smell like everyone, right? This scent is strong for sure, so it literally lasts all day. I’ve never worn this perfume and not been complimented on it. Re purchase for me and would absolutely recommend

Winter fragrance
I’ve wanted to try this fragrance for a while, it didn’t disappoint! It smells of apple/cinnamon, never smelt anything like it. Very long lasting,I could still smell it in the next day on my wrist, would definitely recommend.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
I love this fragrance SO much! I always feel so hot when I wear this for my it’s the perfect mix of feminine and masculine and it lasts extremely well on my skin which not a lot of perfumes do for me!

Love from second smell
Initially I was not sure I like this perfume. It was a little bit too boozy for me. But I gave it a chance and oh wow - initially it may be too strong, but after that it settles on your skin and gives you that cozy feeling of an old but luxurious secret bar.

Boozy...
I want to wax lyrical like so many of the reviews before me... but I'm not as bowled over by this as I hoped... it's both boozy and sweet but it hasn't wowed me... I've had more compliments when I wear Coco Chanel or Penhaligons scents... The bottle is beautiful but the jury's still out as to whether i'd buy this again... I just had to know what the hype was all about - especially as it constantly sells out!

At first sniff I didn't like the perfume but I know how much I spent on it so I gave it another 2-3 tries and now I could say that I love this perfume. It is really unique and long lasting

Warm spicy gourmand scent perfect for the Winter. The Angel's share smells literally just like an apple brown sugar pie. It's a new favorite in my perfume collection. Love!
