Kate Somerville - Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream

Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream Reviews

    A joy to use
Really enjoyed using the Goat Milk Cleanser. It's super gentle but leaves my skin feeling clean and moisturised. It does have a slight yummy fragrance but I don't find it to be overpowering or irritating. It does a great job at lifting away oil, SPF and other impurities without disturbing my skin's balance. But, on the days when I wear make-up, I prefer to use this as a second cleanse. When using it I noticed my skin appeared calmer, soothed and no longer felt dehydrated. Over time, I've also noticed a suppleness and softness to my skin.
Just meh... maybe for drier skin?
I did not find this product very appealing. The scent is not great, the consistency is ok but never completely sinks in and leaves a shiny residue on my combination skin (even in winter when it leans more towards dry). Also, I did not find it to be particularly calming. And all this for that price is a bit disappointing. I‘d rather stick to my Caudalie cream and/or the Dr. Sturm cream.
    Good moisturiser
I liked the moisturising capacity of this cream. It leaves your skin dewy and glowy, but also a bit oily like (no matte effect). It causes my skin to tingle slightly, but no irritation or redness occurs, even though I have sensitive skin. Easy to apply but a bit greasy. Would recommend for dry skin.
    Okay for dry skin maybe
I love the packaging and I love the texture. What I don’t love is the feeling on my skin. It makes me feel like it’s wet and not sinking in. It’s just okay. This might have broken me out too but I don’t know for sure.
    Disappointed
I've wanted to try this for years. I used to use the oil free moisturiser for about 6 years when my skin was oily and acne-prone. But this just didn't work for me. The texture was a little slippery and made me feel sweaty. Not a fan.
    Be careful with this cream
I was very happy to get it in Goody bag because I didn't make the mistake to spend 55 GBP. I have combined skin with some tendency to dryness on my cheeks. When I used it firstly I liked it, but in the next times it caused redness and dryness on my skin. I even tried to use it on my legs and feet, but it made them dry too. Can't recommend.
    Great Moisturiser
I find the moisturiser to be very nourishing. Upon application, the moisturiser soothes, hydrates and conditions my skin. It's light in texture but deeply moisturising. It absorbs quickly creating a lovely glow but doesn't feel heavy. Overall my skin feels comfortable, soft and supple. It's important to note that it contains Lactic Acid. If used every day or alongside other acids it can be irritating or cause a tingling sensation for some people. Personally, it didn't cause any irritation but it's something to consider when purchasing.
Wonderful, light, feels so clean, nourishing
What a sublime moisturiser - light and clean feeling but leaves your skin wonderfully nourished. Will definitely purchase again.
    Just Love It!
I’ve started to use quite a few Kate products and am very happy with the range so, when my old moisturiser ran out, I gave this a try. It comes in a lovely pot with a pump action dispenser. On dispensing my first pump, I was quite disappointed as the cream is light and I didn’t feel it would be hydrating enough for my 50 something skin. How wrong could I be?! It smooths on just like a lightweight moisturiser but definitely packs an enormous hydrating punch and has left my skin silky smooth and with a lovely glow, without leaving a greasy residue. I am converted. My only issue is that, with the lovely pump action dispenser, I will have no idea I have run out of the cream........... until I have actually run out of the cream.
    Hydrating
Hydrating and easily absorbed. Skin felt moisturised but not oily as the cream is light. My only criticism is that the consistency is so runny I lose some every time I open the pot. Would definitely buy again.
    Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cream
This is the best cream I have ever had! I never write any opinion but I am so happy that Cult Beauty finally included this product in their offer that I had to write it. I have been looking for a good cream for a long time. I tried many good brands. I have very dry and problematic skin but thanks to this cream all of it is gone! Highly recommended.
