I really do love Drunk Elephant C-Firma Fresh Day Serum. Yes, the packaging is cute an uplifting, but it isn't all about the packaging, and this Drunk Elephant Serum does offer a good hydration boost to skin, ready for the next stage of skincare, and whatever the day may bring.

Sticky and smelly

I got this as a tester in a goodie bag and I'm so pleased I didn't pay for it. I really don't understand the rave reviews for this product. It is a strong formula and mixing the powder into the serum keeps it stable, so good bang for your buck, however it is SO sticky it is impossible to rub on your face. I've resorted to adding it to my moisturiser to get some much needed slip. Add to that the horrid smell, and I would say avoid! I'm going back to my BeautyPie staple which is MUCH better value for money.

This is my favourite vitamin c  Some people complain about it being sticky/ tacky but I like the texture and think it works well under make up too

I love this serum and think it’s a great idea to have the liquid and powder separate so it can last a while until you need it then you simply have to mix the two together

The best vitamin c serum I have found. It goes on really nicely. I usually mix it with B hydra in the mornings then alternate between the retinol and acid serum in the evenings.  This combination keeps my skin looking bright and is definitely improving the texture and fading the pigmentation marks I have.
