Non toxic swap
5As soon as these launched on site, I made the decision to stop buying from the supermarket and move exclusively to these and haven't looked back. Learning about all of the toxins (including chlorine bleach!) that are commonly found in tampons was really eye-opening to me, so making the move to these 100% organic versions felt like a no-brainer. They don't compromise on quality whatsoever either!

Great idea but...
2Oh, I really wanted to like these! I love the cute packaging (the self-love messaging on the box adds a lovely touch) so much so that I found myself smiling at the box and almost forgetting about my timely cramps. Unfortunately, there are design flaws I feel with the applicator as it's extremely smooth but without much grip, meaning it's very difficult not to bend out of shape when attempting to insert it. The result is either wasting a tampon or having to insert without the applicator which defeats the purpose and isn't too comfortable.

Not for me.
3I love the fact that DeoDoc offer an organic option that won't shed for anyone who prefers tampons, and I also love that they offer a sustainable alternative with their biodegradable packaging, but it just wasn't enough to sway my loyalty to my menstrual cup. I also found that the applicator was a bit difficult to use as there isn't much grip, and because of this I ended up wasting a few tampons.

5I have been terrified of fibre shedding since I have been made aware of it, being so careful with what I put on my face and in my body, it really was a shock to me to discover that I was forgetting about a very essential part of my anatomy. Finally, an option that is not a cup or pad, that actually functions as it should, comfortable to wear, easy to use even if it is a cardboard applicator and the box looks super cute on display in my bathroom. Deodoc did it again, and I can't thank them enough for it!
