Not worth it
1I just couldn’t get on with this ‘root cover-up’, it was a total waste of money. I have tried and tried (and got others to try), but it just makes no difference to my light/mid brown roots! The platinum may work better (even though I’m not platinum!!) but I’m not willing to throw good money after bad.

Easy to use
4Lovely product that’s easy to use but makes a world of difference. Makes your hair look thicker and doesn’t leave it feeling like there’s loads of product in it. Also love how it’s easy to carry in your bag.

Not bad
4Not overly convinced on this product just yet. I like the brush and fact it contains a mirror inside the case, however i feel a lot of product is required on brush until i notice a difference on hair.Â

The best root cover
5This is the best between salon appointments root cover I have tried. Easy to apply with the brush supplied and once in place , does not budge. Other brands leave marks on bedding and clothing but not Color Wow. Each pallet lasts about 3 months so is worth the cost.Â

Perfect size for your bag
5Love this root cover up, it helps make my hair look fuller. It’s the perfect size to carry around in your bag and the mirror is really handy.Â

It's fine
3It does an OK job I guess but it surprised me quite how much work it takes to paint the colour on. I feel like I have to dig right into the product to get even the tiniest bit of coverage and the whole process requires very meticulous work to get it to look acceptable (and that's with my hair tied back in a ponytail). Wouldn't repurchase.

Go for lighter shade
5Having previously purchased the Medium Brown, I have now got Light Brown for my mid-dark brown hair and it matches a lot better. Also, recently discovered that this is great for disguising thin patches or wide partings where a lot of scalp is showing.
