As with all CeraVe superheroes, at the core of this cleanser is a cocktail of three essential ceramides (lipids that are essentially the ‘glue’ of your skin barrier). Flooding your skin with these ceramides helps to keep that skin barrier in tip-top health, helping to maintain moisture levels and keep irritation, sensitivity and eczema at bay. Good for skin bumps
This cleanser works well on the back of the arms to get rid of uneven and bumpy skin. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all.Â

Not great for dry skin
I have dry skin and I found if I use this everyday my skin gets very very dry. I think this is probably more well suited to people with oily or combination skin. I use it once a week now and it doesn't leave me skin too dry, it cleanses my skin well but overall I didn't see a difference with my overall skin texture that could be due to the fact I use it once a week

Great for arms and back
Too exfoliating to use every day on my face alongside other actives but works great to clear up any blemishes on my arms, chest or back. Lather and leave on for a few mins before washing off.

Hydrating yet exfoliating wash, I tend to use this once a day and it has made a positive improvement to my siin

excellent cleanser for blemished tween skin
Really gently, mildly foaming cleanser with a lower amount of salicylic acid than their anti blemish cleanser. In combination with a salicylic acid toner, it's working to calm my daughter's skin, her spots are far fewer and her skin is clearer and the irritation is less. Make sure you use a good gentle moisturiser with it. Â

Love CeraVe cleansers
use this on my face and my back and arms - all areas i'm acne prone and get patches of dry skin. I find this helps and leaves skin feeling soft and balanced and not at all stripped. my skin type is dehydrated normal-dry but acne prone.
