Designed to be applied all over or on specific areas for targeted use, this fast-absorbing moisturiser infuses 2% salicylic acid to banish blemishes and control oil plus lactic and glycolic acid to refine skin texture and unclog pores. In one clinical study, 52 people saw their blackheads appear reduced by up to 45% and spots up to 33% in just four weeks and eight weeks, respectively! As with all CeraVe creations, we can count on this formula to include their three must-have ceramides and niacinamide to lock in moisture and keep our skin barrier in tip-top shape.
Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying this product, we recommend using CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser. Recommended for evening use.
Use applicator to dispense product onto fingers. Apply all over face for general application or use as a targeted treatment on affected areas.
Apply CeraVe Blemish Control Gel in the evening and always follow with SPF protection in the day time.
To prevent from over-drying the skin, start with one application every couple of days and then build up to daily usage or twice a day. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.

Okay moisturiser for blemish prone skin
Seem to be having a series of breakouts which have been proving difficult to shift and also spending a fortune on skincare trying.  I haven’t found any miracles as yet but can say I’m pleasantly surprised by this moisturiser which I’ve been using alongside the ckeanser. It’s not overly moisturizing but it doesn’t irritate my excema. I’d recommend this as a starting point before you splash out on more expensive brands as it’s great value.

Simple but effective
I'm so glad I bought this. It helps hugely if my skin barrier is compromised. If you use it early enough it'll tackle those blemishes quickly. I try to use it regularly to keep them at bay.

Seems to have a useful effect with some astringent/acid feel. Can't say it would replace pimple patches or retinol/Sunday Riley glycolic on my older skin, and I will likely pass to my tween who will find this more useful i think. Perhaps better for younger skin. Nice and mild on sensitive skin which I always find with Cerave.
