A powerhouse of a treatment mask, Benefit's deeply decongesting clay creation perfectly balances clarifying actives with barrier-boosting heroes to keep your skin clear sans uncomfortable tightness. Mineral-rich kaolin clay travels deep into pores to draw out impurities while sea fennel extract works to minimise excess oil at the skin's surface. Sphingolipids - ceramide-like molecules - care for your moisture levels and keep them topped up so your complexion stays healthy, hydrated and soft to the touch. Comfort-inducing bisabolol and softening antioxidant-rich seed oils make this mask the ultimate retreat for skin in need of a little attention. Apply evenly to clean, dry face & neck weekly. Leave on for 30 minutes or until dry. Dots appear as oil is drawn out of pores. Rinse. Avoid eye and mouth areas. In the event of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water.

it’s alright
A good product, nice clay face mask that makes my skin feel great afterwards. However you get very little product for the amount you pay; i ordered the 30ml tin and it was barely filled up halfway. Quite disappointed with it as the last tin i purchased had far more product.

Instant results, pretty colour
It doesn't impact the results but I love the deep dark purple colour of this mask. It's been a long time since I've used benefit skincare but I've been pleasantly surprised by the masks and the cleaners. Face definitely feels cleaner, smoother and brings underlying spots to the surface. It's nothing groundbreaking but it does what it says on the tin, it's a bathroom staple now.

Love a clay mask and this one does not disappoint. I wouldn’t place all over the face just stick to t-zone to avoid drying out the skin

Good clay mask
This is a pretty good clay mask. It doesn’t feel too drying and it does visibly absorb oil from your pores. I really like the small tin, it’s really easy to pop in an overnight bag and isn’t messy - has lasted longer than I expected too. It’s not the best clay mask I’ve ever used but have repurchased because it’s effective and the packaging makes it a winner.

All round good mask
I don’t usually buy into Blackhead products but I have to admit this mask seemed to reduce mine quite significantly. I would say you do require quite a bit to get a nice thick mask.Â

Do you want to dry out your skin?
I love clay masks, always bought just the powder, diluted with water and applied to my face. The effect was nice and clean pores. This product doesn't even do that for such a high cost for such a small jar. I don't understand who this product is for. On my combination prone dry skin it caused irritation and dried it out even more. It is likely to cause rashes on oily skin, because even I have them consistently after this mask. It is difficult to wash my skin after using it. Useless product, for the same money it is better to buy several cloth masks, the effect will be better.

Good, but...
I read the other reviews on this and decided to use it just on the nose area. It does work, I mean it seems to pull oil out and you can see it working which is quite satisfying. But I feel like it's sort of a temporary solution, makes you feel better at the time but doesn't have any longer-term effect. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like this isn't an essential item. S

Pore cleaning clay mask
I use it once a week and my skin feels so soft afterwards unlike other clay masks. Doesn’t dry out my skin. My pores feels tighter since I’ve started benefit’s pore collection.Â
