The Cleansing Balm is a solid salve that melts into a luxurious milky cleanser when water is added. May be used as a complete cleanser on its own, as the first step in a double cleansing regimen, followed by The Cleansing Gel.
Use fingertips to massage a pea-sized amount of balm into dry skin, paying special attention to areas where dirt, oil and stubborn make up accumulate.
Add water to emulsify and continue to massage.
Soak ‘The Cloth in warm to hot water and apply gently to the skin in circular motions to remove impurities and excess balm.
Pat skin dry before continuing with the rest of your Augustinus Bader skin care regimen.
Rinse ‘The Cloth’ thoroughly and allow to hang dry between uses.

Best balm cleanser
I’ve tried several over the years including Elemis, byoma, Liz Earle…but this is just exceptional. My skin has never been better since using AB cleanser and products. Worth the price tag. Only thing I miss is the smell of the Elemis one.Â

Best makeup remover and cleaner ever
I’m on my second one after being an Elemis balm cleanser user. Whilst this one has no fragrance, it cleanses skin beautifully and leaves no residue on the skin at all. Skin feels clean and smooth after. Skin continues to look better with using these products. At 40 and entering perimenopause this is certainly helping with my changing skin.Â

Super Gentle.
I’m on my second pot of this cleanser. It’s super gentle and I love the soft creamy consistency. It feels lovely when massaged onto the face and removes every last trace of make-up without stripping the skin. I will never use another cleanser.Â

Best cleansing balm
Let me start by saying I’ve always wanted my skin to love a cleansing balm but everyone I’ve tried has been too oily or too scented. Not this one though. This is just perfection. No scent and not oily. It deep cleans my skin and leaves it calm and clean without feeling stripped. It’s brilliant. If you want a really scented balm though this is not for you.

Obsessed with this cleansing balm, it feels so luxurious and melts makeup away effortlessly. Doesn't dry out skin at all, it's pricey but a little goes a long way.

The best cleansing melt out there
For me this is the best cleansing melt out there. It's nourishing and calming, not too thick or too thin in texture, no annoying perfume, feels very luxurious, melts in to the skin and washes off easily to leave glowing and comfortable skin. Definitely worth it for me.
