Born out of one woman’s frustration, AMELIORATE’s creator Annette was desperate to find a treatment for her Keratosis Pilaris that lived up to its promises. Tired of skin that appeared rough, red and bumpy due to an excess production of keratin (an essential part of skin’s uppermost layers), Annette decided to take matters into her own hands. With the Intensive Skin Therapy, Ameliorate has designed a solution to painfully tight, dry skin and flakiness.
Perfect for dry, dehydrated and textured skin, the Intensive Skin Therapy is a non-greasy balm that nourishes and restores your skin, giving a healthy and hydrated appearance. The petroleum-free blend works to moisturise without clogging and congesting your pores, so you needn’t worry about opening a Pandora’s Box of blemishes. Empowered by lactic acid the treatment works to exfoliate your skin, sloughing away dead skin cells to reveal smoother skin. Rich in essential fatty acids, sweet almond oil and barley extract help to soften and calm severely dry skin. Moisture-locking shea butter seals the deal, protecting your skin from falling back into dryness and soothing soreness. We’ll take ten.
Apply the balm to any dry patches, massaging into your skin for full absorption. Apply a thick layer overnight for more troublesome areas. For best results, use at least twice daily.

Broke me out
Bought for eczema and it broke me out in a horrible red itchy, hot rash. Use with caution if you have sensitive skin. The rest of the range works well for me.

Eczema skin
I have had Topical steroid withdrawal and suffered from chronic skin conditions for over 10 years. This is amazing for evening routine and all over the body in problematic areasÂ

Almost medicinal in its efficacy
This cream is almost as effective as some of the ointments prescribed by doctors for dry skin - you have to be consistent, but it works.

Amazing for very dry skin
I have a history of eczema and currently, I experience really dry flakey hands, unfortunately. I have been prescribed steroids for its but of course, it's steroids so who actually wants that? but MY GOD, this cream does wonders. It is super thick, moisturizing, and highly absorbent although can feel a little greasy (but then again I really SMACK it on my skin), and even after washing my hands, my skin still feels moisturized. I don't use it for my face (probably not the greatest idea). I just wish the bottle was bigger, I'd pay more for a 100ml version of it, it is so good.

SOOO GOOD FOR DRY SKIN
I’m currently on medication, so my skin has been incredibly dry and flaky, the first day I used this I got instant results!! My skin looked so much more hydrated and healthy! The product is CRAZY thick though so I wouldn’t recommend for people who don’t have really dry and flaky skin. It hasn’t broken me out yet which is a plus!
