A next-generation overnight serum, Allies of Skins’ Mandelic Pigmentation Corrector Night Serum is supercharged with a hardworking blend of 11% mandelic, lactic and salicylic acid along with brighteners, antioxidants and peptides to battle stubborn pigmentation, large pores, melasma, persistent breakouts, uneven texture and blackheads. Now available in the original (30ml) and a travel-sized (8ml) vial, there's no better time to try out its brightening benefits...
Most alpha hydroxy acid serums focus only on exfoliation, which can sometimes lead to tightness and irritation – but this multitasking booster replenishes moisture and strengthens your skin’s delicate barrier while it gently resurfaces. The acids work to cleanse pores and dissolve the bonds that bind dead, dulling cells to your skin’s surface, unveiling clearer, more even and radiant skin cells beneath. Hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and essential fatty acids from organic rosehip and tamanu oil replenish moisture to bolster skin’s barrier, while organic bakuchiol – a natural alternative to retinol that’s clinically proven to reduce multiple signs of ageing – significantly reduces roughness and boosts elasticity, firmness and radiance. Multiple peptides work synergistically to inhibit the production of melanin while fading stubborn pigmentation so skin is trained to look significantly brighter over time.
After cleansing and toning, apply on face and neck every night. Always use SPF the morning after.

Tingles
I’m a fan of vitamin C on the skin for its brightening properties and defence against free radicals, however this is not my favourite. The texture is nice but the smell is quite strong, and it tingles and almost stings on my skin. The result is nice over time, but it’s so unnecessarily expensive that I wouldn’t repurchase.

Very nice serum
This is very nice serum, but unfortunately too harsh for sensitive skin. If you don’t have sensitive skin, then go for it, use it every night and will see your skin is clarifying and acne is disappearing , but if you do have sensitive skin, then don’t use it more than three times a week and layer it with some calming oil, otherwise your face can get burnt. Other than that, this is really nice, hard-working serum, that is worth the price

Too pricey
Way too pricey, and this brand keeps on increasing prices and then have insane sales on their website with 40% off and free products. Confusing as it makes you question the value of these products.

Gentle & effective exfoliant
I’m on my second bottle of this and feel I know enough about how it works for my skin to leave a review now! I have combination skin, oily and acne-prone but was also had a few extremely dry patches this winter (extremely), which the Allies Barrier balm really helped with. This serum is supposed to be great for pigmentation and while it does help fade the dark marks which I have over time (months), the real winner for me is how it gently exfoliates my sensitive skin and greatly reduces blemishes. A few times a week, I layer it between a moisturiser sandwich (balm on first and then apply again in sensitive areas after the serum) and I can honestly say the results have been game changing for me! My skin is a lot clearer, softer and most importantly, not irritatedÂ

Lightens dark spots and improves radiance
I had a few scars and dark spots left over from particularly pesky blemishes. This serum helped to significantly reduce the appearance of my dark spots over repeated use, while feeling gentle on my skin for a potent acid serum. Over time, my skin looked generally brighter and more radiant. Would repurchase!Â

Not worth the hype...
I wanted to love this serum, as it had been very well reviewed for pigmentation concerns. Unfortunately, I didn't get along with the texture - it felt sticky even though I applied it to very damp skin (as recommended by the brand). My skin consistently felt tacky after applying it and my moisturiser pilled when applied on top of it. I did not persist with using the whole bottle. Disappointed given the price point.

the best product for pigmentation
It lightens the pigmentation spots! Love it but smell can be unpleasant for some people.

Noticeable results
I am using my second bottle of this and I have had noticeable results with texture, this is a lovely serum which helps achieve the 'glass skin' look. The serum is marketed to help with pigmentation l, I can't say I can see changes with my pigmentation yet but hopefully with continued use.

Dark marks who?
I have been using this serum for about a month now and can honestly say it has helped improve the appearance of my acne scars and discolouration. I have never used a serum that has visibly cleared my scarring before trying this one and it is honestly life changing! It has also really helped improve my skin's texture and it feels so smooth now.

Waiting to see a difference
I got the travel size version (30ml) from a friend. Haven’t seen any remarkable difference in pigmentation and acne marks, but I guess mandelic acid takes a longer period to see a change. However, I have noticed a difference in skin texture, so excited to see further results! The smell is the only negative aspect -smells quite bitter.
