Just the best
This is the best shampoo I’ve ever used but you have to do a double cleanse to see the real benefit. It leaves your hair feeling nourished and healthy. My all time favourite!

Better than the conditioner
This is definitely better than the conditioner and luckily smells better. I wouldn’t be repurchasing though, and luckily got this in an Edit box so I’m glad i didn’t pay full price for it. Didn’t leave my hair greasy like lots have said, but i emulsified it well & shampoo’d twice. I have really dry hair which has obviously worked in my favour too!Â

Not a fan!
Both the shampoo and conditioner in this line need to be shaken before usage, which gives you an indication of how much oil it contains! I need a ridiculous amount of this before I get any kind of lather (and I have a lob), and even then my hair doesn't feel particularly clean. The scent is very off-putting; it reminds me of mould, or wet earth. I won't be repurchasing.Â

*It's giving greased otter*
After seeing this on an Instagram ad and doing a fair bit of my own research, I was excited to try this shampoo + the matching conditioner. Unfortunately, the results fell flatter than my hair on wash day - perhaps this may work for some people who have soft water, or seriously dry and fluffy hair but it did not work for me. For context I have healthy, thick-ish wavy hair and I use heat stylying/tools very sparingly. I live in London, where the water is very hard and, even with a shower filter, this could not get my hair looking clean. If you're on the fence, I would advise against trying this - if it doesn't work for you, you'll be SOL like me, as Cult Beauty's return policy does not allow returns once the product has been tried.

Not for me
I’m sure the ethics behind the ingredients are a major pulling point but it does nothing to my hair but encourage knots my hair feels unusually dry unfortunately really wanted to love this

My usual Kevin Murphy shampoo was out of stock so decided to try this and it greater for a deep cleanse leaves hair feeling soft and smooth
