Resolving your skin problems one spot at a time, ZITSTICKA is the innovative skincare brand that's been making waves (and calming the appearance of zits) throughout the beauty realm. Next on the brand's agenda: the ever-important task of protecting skin against UV damage with the MEGASHADE Breakout-proof SPF 50 Sunscreen Serum. We know you expect a lot from your skin care products (as you should!) which is why we also know this serum-SPF hybrid is sure to be a hit. We love a multitasker, after all.
Combining the broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection of an SPF with the skin-nourishing benefits of a serum, the MEGASHADE Breakout-proof SPF 50 Sunscreen Serum is the new staple of your morning skincare routine.
An effective two-in-one formula that leaves a luminous glow and zero white cast, let's just say this formula is something of an overachiever. For ultimate protection, the sunscreen-serum uses a mineral-chemical filter hybrid. Non-irritating zinc oxide (3%) creates a physical barrier between UV rays and your skin, while chemical filters absorb UV rays and turn them into heat, neutralising free radicals long before they can do harm to your skin. To beat blemishes, this non-comedogenic formula is packed with niacinamide to sooth breakouts and tea tree to boot spot-causing bacteria from your face. Rounding out the mega formula are a host of reliable hydrators to nourish and plump skin; think colloidal oatmeal, ceramides and hyaluronic acid. Yep, this dew-giving serum is guaranteed to make the rest of your shelfie look oh-so-lazy.
Homosalate, Octinoxate, Octisalate, Zinc Oxide, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf (Aloe Vera Gel) Juice, Amodimethicone, Aqua (Deionized Water), Butylene Glycol, Butyloctyl Salicylate, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Camellia Sinensis (Green Teat) Extract, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Carbomer, Citric Acid, Citrullus Lanatus (Watermelon) Extract, Ceramide NG, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Colloidal Oatmeal, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclotetrasiloxane, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Extract, Ferulic Acid, Glycerin, Glyceryl Caprylate, Glyceryl Stearate, Glyceryl Undecylenate, Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrogenated Methyl Abietate, Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Oil, Niacinamide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, Polysorbate-20, Terminalia Ferdinandiana (Kakadu Plum) Oil, Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) Extract.

this ones very, very good
it almost acts as a skincare product as well as being an SPF and gives you a glow that is hard to find in other products - that sits very well under the next makeup/product steps in your routine. HG for me!

Fave
My favourite sport I've ever tried! Doesn't leave any cast once it's been worked in (I'm of medium-dark skin tone) and it leaves my face with a lovely glow. I use this alone after cleansing and don't bother with a moisturiser which if definitely a bonus

Too greasy
I really wanted to love this sunscreen serum given the impressive array of added skincare benefits. However, on my normal skin, with a few patches of dryness, it left me looking and feeling greasy and shiny - it doesn't seem to sink in well, so I don't use it if I'm going to wear makeup that day - so rarely use it. I've not had that problem with other 'glow giving' sunscreens, so will be unlikely to repurchase - I'm trying to use up the whole 50ml but it's slow going since I wear makeup most days, and simply can't use this under makeup!

Not for oily skin
Imagine this would be great for dry, acne prone skin as it’s not caused a reaction or any breakouts and I have sensitive skin. However it’s just far too greasy and shiny for my oily skin, doesn’t seem to sink in despite being a serum texture so sits on my skin.

Nice SPF
A nice SPF that doesn’t leave a white cast on my medium skin. It’s a serum like texture so it’s perfect for oily skin and it makes applying the correct amount and reapplying much more enjoyable than it is with thicker formulas.

Best sunscreen for acne prone skin
This is the first sunscreen that hasn't broken me out. Highly recommend if you're acne prone. However, the serum is quite oily, which doesn't really bother me because my skin leans on the drier side, but if you struggle with oily skin, I would stay clear of this.

THE BEST
I have yet to find an SPF I love more. I've shopped around because the price felt high but I keep coming back to this and it's perfect. I have darker skin and this doesn't leave a purple/grey cast, my skin looks so glowy and I use this as an SPF/moisturiser and my acne prone skin loves it. 100% recommend
