Painful not soothing
1I'm so disappointed in spending this much money on a bar of soap that immediately gives me a stinging sensation. As someone else has mentioned, I'm not even allergic to any of the ingredients! I don't understand. I wanted to treat myself and all I got was panic in the shower.

Don't use as shampoo
1I was looking for a good scalp soothing shampoo. I was really hoping the lavender and CBD would help my itchy scalp. This left such a thick residue on my hair and was horrible. When I use it as a soap its ok, but leaves my skin feeling a bit sad and dry.

Bad reaction
1It smells lovely and I like the ideas of it but for some reason, I had a very bad reaction/allergy to this soap. It stung and caused a rash that only prescribed cream cleared up. Not sure if I’m allergic to an ingredient in the soap, just a heads up to anyone who may have allergies or sensitivity.

Teenage skin
5Bought this for my teenage son who at times suffers from breakouts on his scalp and body. This has helped to calm the itchiness on his scalp and keep any breakouts at bay. Also being in solid bar form eases my concerns about plastic packaging.

Good
4It's a lovely soap, light herbal fragrance, lathers well, and cleans without feeling too dry, however, when my skin is a bit sensitive and I double cleanse with this soap, I get a tingling feeling on my second cleanse, and I've not had this with other bars I've tried ...

Best soap I’ve ever used
5Aside from the amazing soothing smell, I just love how it feels on my skin and face. Now it made me feel more intrigued to use it as a hair wash.This is the best soap ever!!

Better than Lush
4I have a problem with soap bars so this was a pleasant surprise. It still makes my skin squeaky (not a gd or bad thing) but it doesn't dry it out and my skin doesn't feel itchy. I still need to put on moisturiser afterwards. I've been using it for just over a week and my bacne and the breakout on my décolletage have receded. I'd like to try Herbivore's version for comparison.

Plastic Free and Gorgeous!
5I have a new obsession with hunting for the best bar cleansers to try and make my skincare routine more sustainable and environmentally friendly. After both my flatmate and my best friend raved about this I had to see what all the fuss was about. Firstly the smell is absolutely gorgeous, it's a really soft lavender and is so relaxing as a second cleanse at night or morning cleanse. The texture is the first of its kind in a bar cleanser that I have found. It's really silky and soft as you lather it into your hands, and a little goes a very long way. I have normal/combo skin prone to hormonal breakouts and this leaves my skin feeling really clean but not 'squeaky' clean which is perfect. I would say that if you are really dry this might be slightly too much for you, and I would definitely recommend this more for problematic/oily-combo skins. I use this as a facial cleanser but my flatmate uses it for her body wash and you can also use it in your hair! Minimal ingredients, multi-purpose (I would use different bars for face and body though), free from plastic (it comes in a cute recyclable box) and beautifully scented this is a no-brainer! This will last such a long time too so is incredible value for money!

AMAZING!
5I've had really bad skin, acne, blackheads since I was a teenager (I'm 28 now). This soap is FAR better than anything I've used before! In two weeks I don't have any blackheads AT ALL on my nose and my skin is SO MUCH better. It's natural, plastic free and incredible on the skin. Felt a little tight and tingly the first few uses, but my skin clearly needed the renewal! After my face wash I'm using the Herbivore skin oil (instead of a moisturizer) FINALLY HAPPY WITH MY SKIN!!
