Hand-blended in small batches from the UK, co-founder Arabella Preston’s iconic glass bottles are recyclable and filled with the nature’s finest ingredients (without any irritants) to provide soothing and age-defying nutrients that your skin will gratefully devour. The newest addition to the range is the aptly named Radiance Reveal Mask, which used a powerhouse combination of mandelic acid and lactic acid to gently resurface skin and reveal — well — radiance!
A twice-weekly treatment for dull, dry skin (or simply whenever your complexion needs a little pick me up), VOTARY’s Radiance Reveal Mask uses a cocktail of mandelic acid and lactic acid to brighten, smooth and clear troubled skin.
So what makes these two AHAs so potent? Well, mandelic acid is the most gentle of all the alpha-hydroxy family (goodbye, irritation!) but still manages to exfoliate skin evenly and effectively, accelerating cell turnover and reducing fine lines, hyperpigmentation and breakouts in the process. Similarly, lactic acid is a superstar skin resurfacer. Like it’s co-star, lactic acid’s larger molecule size means it can only penetrate the top layer of skin — meaning it’s gentle (but effective) in sloughing away dead skin cells. It’s a humectant too, which means it draws in moisture from the air to thirsty skin. What’s not to love?
Smooth into face and neck, taking care to avoid the eye area. Leave on for 5-15 minutes then remove with a damp face cloth. Use twice a week, or as needed. Some tingling may be experienced and is normal. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Lovely consistency
I love the balmy/oily consistency of the mask. I tend to keep it for a bit longer on my face (because my skin tolerates stronger acid peels). I think it’s a great mask to prep skin before a date or after a long tiring day, before bed. Now that I have a baby (yep, I’m on the sleep deprived team), this mask is a must have, for that extra nurture and me-time.

Gentle exfoliating mask
I used to over-exfoliate my skin regularly using aggressive AHAs. This mask is a no-brainer. Although being extremely effective, it never irritates or sensitizes my skin. It is a bit expensive for an extra step of skincare. But I am on my second jar and hopefully will afford to buy it in the future.Â

This really works!
I use this twice a week instead of liquid exfoliants which I find agitate my skin. It goes on really smooth, I leave it on for 10 minutes and then wipe it off with a warm flannel. It’s early days but I am seeing a difference to my skin.
