Versed Skincare - Skin Soak Rich Moisture Cream

Versed Skincare Skin Soak Rich Moisture Cream Reviews

    Great moisturiser, really hydrating
Bought this cream to help with my dry/combo skin and it really helps to calm down my flare-ups. It's quite a thick consistency so better to use at night in my opinion. It has helped to reduce inflammation within the first few uses and has now become a staple in my skincare routine for the evening. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a heavier moisturiser!
    Night routine essential
This cream is a staple part of my nighttime routine now. Rich, plumping, softening and glow-bringing, it packs a punch way stronger than the price tag suggests. Perfect for my middle-aged skin.
    Love it!
I have dry and sensitive skin and my cheeks are often inflamed and red. I’ve found this hydrating but not greasy and really gentle on my skin. I’m in my late 30s and find it works really well for where my skin is at these days. The inflammation on my cheeks is improving too.
    Really hydrating moisturiser
Like some others, when I first used this I thought it was too light as my skin soaked it up and it almost felt tight. Having used it day and night for a few weeks now I love it, it's very hydrating and my dry 40's skin feels well moisturised and comfortable, even after using retinol. It's not a thick emollient cream though, unlike the milk moisturiser so possibly not thick enough for everyone. But I am happy I persevered with it and think it's great value for hydration and will definitely repurchase.
    I Love It!
I have dry skin, and this leaves my skin hydrated and glowing!
    Nice but not rich!
A lovely light gel-cream but not as nourishing as I was hoping. Light, sinks in well, lovely for a base for make-up maybe but not a night cream.
This moisturises my dry-ish skin nicely without being heavy or greasy, but it's not the skin-soak experience it claims to be for me. It's nice enough and I'll use it up, but probably won't re-purchase.
    It’s ok.
This is an average moisturizer, not as hydrating as I’d hoped. It wasn’t bad, but not amazing either. For the price I think I could have found something better. However, it wasn’t irritating and I will finish it but I wouldn’t repurchase.
    Best moisturiser
This moisturiser is just incredible. I struggle with really dry patches of skin on my face during the winter months and this is the first moisturiser I've found that a) does not sting on irritated skin b) is deeply hydrating and c) seems to help my skin not get so dry in the first place. Highly recommend. Plus, it's vegan and cruelty-free so what more could you want!
    Not good for dry skin
I have combination skin that becomes drier in the winter. I found that this moisturizer was really quickly absorbed and didn't leave my face feeling hydrated. Although it's a rich formula that smells good, it isn't as hydrating as I had hoped.
Best Night Moisturiser tried to date
This moisturiser is super underrated. It’s unscented and glides on your skin and helps so much with dehydration. It adds so much moisture and I wake up with glowing and plump skin with no oil in sight. I will say that I can’t use this while in the early stages of using a new retinol product though because my skin becomes over sensitised. The consistency is thick but isn’t heavy and all of the product absorbs over night- similar to the Inkey List ceramide cream but more ‘wet’/ less rich.
Supper rich moisturizer, leaves the skin feeling comfortable all day. Great for dehydrated skin types without feeling greasy. Good price point!
I'm 45 and this is a really nice, good value cream, works both mornings and evenings, my skin feels hydrated but never greasy like with so many other moisturisers because it's so light. I will definitely be buying again and will be recommending.
    Close to perfect
It's cheap, hydrating, and soaks in quick. The only downsides are that it can be irritating if you use too much and that it comes in a tub instead of a tube.
    Bad reaction
Sadly i had a bad reaction to this. I have dry sensitive rosacea prone skin and this made my entire face sting, and it also broke me out. I've been using it for about a week trying to pull through, but i can't keep using it. It makes my face tingle and burn, and it's such a shame cause it does have a great texture and great ingredient list and price. I think I might be allergic to something in it, maybe the red algae extract or the squalane. I have reacted a bit badly to other squalane heavy products, so that might be the culprit. Sadly won't repurchase.
    Best night cream
Really lovely feeling on my skin, not too heavy like other night creams and absorbs into the skin quickly. I wake up looking fresh! I’ll certainly be trying other versed products from now on.
    Terrific product
Bought this because I have dry skin and a lot of people raved about it. Can see why. It's a thick cream which leaves my skin plump and squishy. Would definitely recommend!
    A real g
I adore this product and since having bought it I've tried a lot of Versed products and more or less the whole brand is really good. Not even "for the price" I just mean really good! I have combination skin on the dryer side so whilst I use oil free lightweight mattifying formulas during the day, I like to use more hydrating things at night. This is absolutely perfect for that. I wake up not feeling greasy just plump and soft. I will add this is almost like la mer with it's squalane and algae ingredients but for a tenth of the price.
    It's fine
I really don't see any benefit from using this. It's nothing special, I'd expect similar from a £2 cream from Primark. The upside is it does sink in well. I'll use it up but wouldn't repurchase.
    It's Great
I have really dry skin but I found that this does the trick! It really does keep the skin hydrated and is honestly great value for money. I've been using it for a while now for the transition from Spring to Summer and would say that with summer coming I will start using an extra hydrating balm just to double up. But other than that I love it!
    5 ⭐️
    Really great PM moisturiser
I shopped around A LOT for a good PM moisturiser because I felt I was waking up and my skin looked really meh. I have oily to balanced skin and I would absolutely recommend this. I bought this during the first few days of lockdown where I was finding my skin was sad (side effect of being inside alllllll the time) so I put a layer on morning and evening and my skin drank it up. Now I’m using it just in the evening after a cleanse, tone, serum routine and it looks it all in and leaves my skin feeling great. I had never heard of it tried Versed before but I would definitely recommend for the price and quality. (Just wish the pot holding the moisturiser wasn’t cheap plastic, I know it’s not really important but I was a bit like oh :/ )
    Lovely moisturiser
This is an excellent moisturiser and such good value for money. I usually use far more expensive skin care but was drawn to this by the reviews. Does exactly what it says leaves my sensitive skin really nourished and deeply hydrated. Will repurchase.
I bought this recently and to be fair it’s okay but I’m pretty disappointed! It does have its good points, I just feel like it’s been marketed incorrectly. I would say it’s a very light moisturiser! works well as an everyday and pretty good under makeup and really nice that it doesn’t have a scent to it but that’s where it ends. It doesn’t hydrate particularly well and I have no idea how it’s been described to be ‘rich’ or as a night cream. I have combination/oily skin and it doesn’t really do much for me. Another annoying point is it’s only half full, as I’ve been using it I’ve found huge air bubbles in the cream so the tub has huge voids in it. Pretty disappointing and I wouldn’t buy it again.
I bought this after seeing this in Susan Yara's favourite videos. For my dry, dehydrated and acne prone skin, this moisturizer is very hydrating for day and night (2-3 layers for that extra hydration) - will repurchase!
This is one of the best moisturisers I've ever found, and I have tried them all. I am a skincare junkie, usually using more expensive brands such as Rodial or Sunday Riley- this moisturiser is THE moisturiser.
Although this cream is described as 'rich', it's a light cream and a little goes a long way. For best results, you warm up a little in between your fingers and apply. I have a chronic illness and rosacea and this cream adds GREAT hydration. I use it am and pm over The Ordinary hyaluronic acid serum, it's also fantastic as an under eye cream and on the neck as well. This cream is gentle on the skin and hasn't caused me any breakouts and my skin is very sensitive. I highly recommend it and I will be purchasing it again, although it will luckily last me a long time. I don't wear foundation so I can't comment how this cream would be underneath it.*
    A great find
I have medium to dry skin and I fell in love with this cream straight away, better than other high end creams out there! It can be used as night mask as well as day cream and it's a great make up base for non oily skin types.
After years of searching: My Holy Grail
As the title of my review suggests, I’ve had a lot of trouble finding the perfect moisturiser for my skin. I have normal to slightly dry skin that struggles with texture from time to time, so you’d think plenty of thicker moisturisers would be alright for me - wrong. The best moisturiser in terms of how it felt once applied that I used before this one was plain old Nivea soft cream, but in using that I had to sacrifice some redness due to the irritating ingredients in it. But nothing else I tried felt right! It was either too greasy and thick, too soapy, too light, or broke me out badly. Anyway - the bit you actually want to read - this moisturiser is my absolute HOLY GRAIL product. Not only is it thick enough for night and light enough for day, but it also glides onto the skin with no awkward pilling, no siliconey film, no caprylic triglyceride chalkiness, just pure plumping MOISTURE in a pot. I don’t know why it’s been so difficult for me to find a moisturiser this good, but I’m glad I HAVE found it and I will never stray from it now.
    Skin Soak moisturiser
Lovely rich and thick, but still quite light, no or little fragrance, not greasy. Just wish it had an SPF. I would buy it again though. My skin looked great after a week of using it.
    Not writing home about it
Good quality hydration without a greasy feel, but not better than anything you would get from an average high street brand. In fact, for the price, I'd rather get a L'Oreal or upgrade altogether. I wouldn't get it again.
    Really grew on me!
Though it didn't blow me away the first time I used it, I keep coming back to this moisturiser and have now purchased it several times. It feels lovely and smooth going on, and while it's described as rich, it's never made me feel greasy or caused any breakouts. It has a subtle, unusual, slightly lactic smell, like a sourdough starter, which I've really grown to enjoy. Very good value, wonderfully unfussy packaging, would recommend.
    Smooth as silk
I feels light and yet rich enough for the winter. Glides on, smooth to the touch and absorbs into the skin quickly. Feels good and great for under makeup too.
The worst cream I ever put on my face.. after few min you will feel very dry.
Not as hydrating as it claims
I have dry skin and this left my skin feeling tight and dry once the product soaked into my skin both in the morning and at night - felt like I wanted to reapply every hour. Probably won't be the ultimate skin-soaking moisturiser it claims.
    Great product
Great moisturiser. Especially for winter months. I have sensitive skin and can break out easily but have not had any issues with this moisturiser. I have been using it for a month.
I've been using this product for 10 months now and it's the only moisturiser I can use on my dry, sensitive rosacea skin that makes it look hydrated and causes no irritation or acne. It lasts me a long time as well, even using it morning and night. It adds a slight dewy finish, which I like because mattifying my already dry skin isn't a good look.
    Very good product
I have nothing bad to say about this product, unscented, nourishing, great price point ... if you're looking for a great moisturiser that doesn't leave you oily this one is for you.
    High moisture
This moisturizer is amazing! I have been using gel moisturizers for six years now, and this is the first time I go back to cream moisturizers, this did not disappoint! I am on Acne medication and using retinol for peeling, so this leaves my face very moisturized.
    Love it
    Great for combination skin too.
    Favourite face cream
Love the texture of this cream, it leaves my skin so soft that I now use it both in the morning and in the evening. So happy to have discovered this brand, I will definitely repeat the purchase.
Does what it’s supposed to. I have dry skin but this moisturises it enough that I don’t need to apply it twice daily. Texture doesn’t feel greasy, but also isn’t like you’ve put nothing on. Pretty good all around.
    Great DE dupe
My skin is ++++ dry atm thanks to tret (prescription retinol). This moisturizes my skin beautifully, leaving it feeling plump and dewy. In terms of creaminess, feel on the skin - very similar to the DE lala retro. Grateful I’ve found a much cheaper alternative!!
I'm usually very skeptical when it comes to moisturisers as I have combination skin, with an oily nose and chin and dry everywhere else so having a moisturiser that strikes the balance is hard to come by. I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled on this moisturiser by accident, during the winter months it kept my skin looking fresh (despite many early mornings and little sleep) and a little goes a long way. It so moisturising without feeling greasy, and doesn't overwhelm my nose area. It's a great moisturiser and I am now on the second tub. It works great as a day cream and night cream (paired with rosehip oil for some TLC).
    Light weight night cream
Perfect night cream for those who don’t get on with the heavier types. Light weight yet really hydrating, wake up with soft skin and hasn’t caused any break outs. Feels nice on skin after weekly peel
I was super excited to use this product, when it arrived I used it straight away. Its complete Luxury for my skin, from the first use I could see my skin glowing and looking hydrated. The only negative I have is the packaging. Although the product its self is amazing the plastic packaging lets it down, it feels cheap and not very special at all, which is a great shame. I think with a little more attention to detail this product would defiantly be a show stopper!
    Okay not Great
Feels more lightweight then rich.Broke my Sensitive Dry skin out The fresh rose hydrating cream is much better if u have the same skin type.
    I love this!
This is so lightweight, but still super moisturising as well as hydrating. Definitely one of my faves.
    Good !
I think this is one of the best moisturisers that I have found. I've been using a lot of moisturising creams but this one was the best for me. You need to use only a small amount of the cream and it's enough! I recommend it.
Not as hydrating as I’d hoped
I have very dry skin and am still on the hunt for the perfect moisturiser to help combat my dry patches. Unfortunately, this isn’t the one... The moisturiser is quite light and soaks into the skin pretty well but I haven’t seen any improvement in my skin from using this. I think there are plenty of cheaper drugstore alternatives that would do exactly the same job so I won’t be buying this again.
    Great product and great value
I have very dry, occasionally sensitive skin and this is excellent. It is thick and rich and very hydrating. I use it AM and PM. At night I add a few drops of face oil for added nourishment. Great product at a really good price.
    At last!
I have found a moisturiser that does what it says; moisturises! My skin has felt very dehydrated over winter, probably due to central heating especially. I was trying hydrating serums and moisturisers but they just were not making my skin feel hydrated at all. So glad I found this. My skin feels so comfortable now. Hydrated. It goes on lovely and doesn’t pile when you put your foundation on. I’ve just come on to buy it again before this one runs out. I couldn’t be without it now.
    Not for me
I really wanted a good affordable moisturising cream, unfortunately, my skin didn't react well to this. I have sensitive dehydrated skin and this seemed to make my skin a bit oily. Unfortunately, I had to stop using it.
    Day Cream
I have dry, dehydrated skin and love layering products. This is moisturising enough for me but the slightly whipped texture means it doesn't feel too heavy. Sits well under makeup and a great price, will re-purchase!
