Very thick
It feels very thick and heavy on the skin, really good for when your skin is super dry but wouldn’t recommend it on a daily basisÂ

Not for me
I got this product in Cult Beauty’s female founders edit and I was excited to try it because I had heard good things about the brand. I’m just not really sure if I like this cream or not, it’s very thick and a little sticky and I didn’t like it under make up at all. It does hydrate my skin but I’m not sure it hydrates my skin any better than a cream much lower in price because it is really expensive. I’m glad I’ve tried it but I won’t be purchasing it.

Not sure about this
I am really confused about all the glowing reviews! I started using it 2 weeks ago and I’ve been getting breakouts all over my skin which is very unlike me! Looking at the ingredient list, it might be all the butter and oils etc note - I haven’t changed any other steps in my routine which is why I’m blaming this. Skin looks indeed really glowy after you put it on but not worth it!! It might work if you have really dry skin hence the 2 stars...

Wish I didn't love it so much!
This product is a delight. I got it in female founders edit, which is just as well because the price tag is hefty. If money was no object though, I'd be buying this on repeat. I have oily skin that's prone to breakouts along my chin and jawline so I was worried this might not work for me, however, it's a dream. I like using it over my retinol at night.

I mean ... wow
This.is.magic. I’ve got combo oily/dry skin. I’m in mid 30s so the fines lines are real, but this ... this just makes my skin look amazing! My fines lines look less visible, the colour of my skin has improved, my skin looks super healthy and plump. At first use I did think that it leaves a bit of a tacky feeling on the skin, but it gets absorbed after half an hour or so. Haven’t used it under foundation so cannot comment how it would sit. At first I was also sceptical how a one pump can cover then entire face, but it actually does, also if you use a serum & an spf one pump is more than enough. So it’s quite efficient even for the price. Tempted to try out the compound now.

Unique texture
Okay so this stuff is interesting. It's lightweight in consistency but has the pay off of a rich cream, a rich lotion is the best way to describe it. I have combination skin that is stressed and blemish-prone at the moment and the first impression was my skin wasn't going to like this but I was wrong. It absorbs beautifully and for my skin type leaves a slight tack which I like for then applying makeup. It's hydrating, not pore-clogging at all and has definitely helped balance my skin. My trick to add a little more slip is a spritz of the Jordan Samuels Face Mist, wait 1 minute then apply the super-smart hydrator, a dream combo. I'm enjoying this and would definitely recommend it if you like a streamlined routine (I think you could get away with using this as your hydrating serum and moisturiserter if you are oily/combo).

Marvellous
I use the U Beauty Resurfacing compound already. I was intrigued by this Hydrator but the price put me off at first. Then I got a small size Hydrator in Net-a-Porter advent calendar, and with the first try, I was immediately sold and ordered a large bottle. I now use it with the Resurfacing Compound each night, and I couldn't be happier. My skin is moisturized, more even, less breakouts and the small ones I get heal quickly. Worth it!

Not for those with sensitive/acne prone skin
I really wanted to like this as I like their other product but this is really not for anyone with acne prone or sensitive skin. It caused a massive breakout and really irritated my skin for days. However I do want to say this may be down to an allergic reaction, as the product also made my eyes itch, water and swell so I would also suggest avoiding the product if you would consider yourself a person prone to allergies.

worth it
I was skeptical about this due to the price but it actually worth it. It made a huge difference in the fine lines around my skin and my skin feels more hydrated, plumper, and softer. You can tell it's effective as it IMMEDIATELY gets absorbed into the skin. It does not sit there waiting around at all...unfortunately 2 pumps are not always enough for my skin, it is so dehydrated, it literally eats it up. The packaging is a bit extra for the 15ml version though, so much plastic for such little amount of product. Will buy the 50ml version next time.
