How to Use

By treating once every two weeks, you are closer to your goals of smoother, silky skin. Works effectively on light to medium skin and medium to dark hair. Prep the skin by cleansing, shaving, and towel-drying. This will allow the laser treatment to be most effective since the Tria Laser Precision works on the hair inside the follicle, under the surface of the skin. Unlock the laser by locating the skin sensor (red light) on the device base and hold it against the skin you wish to treat. This will ensure that it is suitable to use on your skin tone. If the Tria Laser Precision is safe for your skin tone, the device will emit a series of beeps and unlock. If the lock icon is still visible and you do not hear a series of beeps, then it may not be safe for you to use the Tria Laser Precision. The sensation of the Tria Laser Precision varies, depending on the person and treatment area. Start at a low treatment level (one or two) and then increase by one treatment level at a time until you've reached the highest treatment level comfortable to you. The higher the treatment level, the faster and better the results. Establish a treatment area and place the laser tip on the area of skin you wish to treat, making sure that it is flat on your skin. Hold the laser tip in place until you hear two beeps. After the beeps, just lift and place the laser tip on skin so that it overlaps the previous area by about one fourth of an inch. Make sure that the laser tip slightly overlaps the area that you just treated. Precautions: It will not work on darker skin tones or grey, blonde, and red hair. It is designed to work on fair to light brown skin tones and light brown to black hair. After first treatment, you may experience mild redness that should quickly dissipate within 24 hours. The Hair Removal Laser should not be used by or on anyone under the age of 18. The use of the Hair Removal Laser on or by children has not been studied and could result in serious injury. Tria Hair Removal Lasers are also not suitable for use on tattooed skin: tattoos, dark brown or black spots (such as large freckles, birthmarks or moles). Dark skin may absorb too much laser light, which can injure the skin.

My experience after use- it will take double triple the time that you would spend at a clinic- at the highest strength its not too painful the trick is to shave properly the area or else you will suffer- the device became extremely hot in just 5 minutes, i decided to turn it off and let it cool even if i had another 10 minutes of use- you have to keep track of the area you covered I would use a white pen to map it. when i tried to do my legs i got lost - the device is too small to cover wide body parts - it says its suitable for bikini however when i read their instruction book it said to avoid the body parts that are a bit darker now that means bikini area for me so be careful - i think it would be great for face, underarm and that is it - remember that it will expire in just three years. for the price i would hope that the battery is better, or an option is available to use it connected to power, finally if you are new to hair removal i advise do your first sessions at a clinic and then introduce a home device.

The short version of my review is that it’s very good for an at-home device

I’ve been going to a clinic for laser hair removal on and off for approximately 5 years. I didn’t want to go back to shaving/waxing during lockdown, so bought this device to get me by until it’s safe to go to my clinic again. I have used it a few times and am pleased with the results so far. For example, I compared one leg to the other (one which I lasered two weeks ago and the other which I lasered a month ago) and from what I can see, there are markedly fewer hairs on both legs; the hairs that have grown thus far are thinner than they used to be. I would like to even say that some have stopped growing for good, but, realistically, that requires at least a few more months of using the device. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars for two minor reasons: the sound of the fan or beeping could bother people who are nearby, even when you are in different rooms (for example, it is much quieter than a hair dryer, but it isn’t exactly silent) and the device requires quite a bit charging (2-3 hours of charging will get you 15-25 minutes of use).

Takes a while, but I think it’s working

I’ve been using this now for around 4/5months, every two weeks as suggested and I’m starting to notice a difference. Hair on my underarm and bikini line is getting much thinner and taking longer to grow back. I’ve also stopped getting in-grown hairs (I used to get very sensitive ones on my underarms when I shaved) so that’s a huge bonus for me. I’m pretty sure if I stick at it, it will only improve too. Don’t be disheartened if you use it and it doesn’t work straight away, keep with it!

Excellent

This laser epilator made it possible to remove hair even in hard-to-reach places. Now I do hair removal at home myself. I highly recommend this epilator, a proven thing.
