The Ordinary has firmly cemented itself as a leader in science-backed skin care. Taking the guesswork out of building a regime, it ditches unnecessary, filler ingredients for familiar, hard-working actives that deliver promising results. Enter the Ethylated Ascorbic Acid 15% Solution (30ml), a fast-acting vitamin C that targets pigmentation and lacklustre skin.
Brighten your visage ASAP with The Ordinary's Ethylated Ascorbic Acid 15% Solution (30ml).
Who's ready for a science lesson? Pencils and notebooks at the ready... This oil-like vitamin C serum has gone through a process called ethylation which makes this solution more stable and reduces the vitamin's molecular size, allowing for faster results. Wondering which results? The appearance of pigmentation and dark spots are reduced while skin tone will look more even and radiant. If that wasn't enough, this advanced water-free formula has antioxidant properties, meaning your skin is more protected from environmental stressors (AKA wind, UV and pollution). It's a win-win all round.
Apply a few drops to the face in the morning and evening. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes.
Propanediol, Ethyl Ascorbic Acid.

Saw a difference
Not the most effective serum I’ve used but I definitely saw a difference in radiance after using this.

Extra Ordinary
The Ordinary Ethylated Ascorbic Acid is the best vitamin C product I’ve ever used. The only one that doesn’t leave “crumbs” on your skin. I find it excellent for my very mature skin. It also helped my 14 year old grandson’s spotty forehead. Buffet is the best serum ever, a buffet of nourishment for the skin. Both delivered promptly and free p&p by Cult Beauty.

Works for me
After ruining my skin on a home microdermabrasion exfoliator 6 years ago I’ve thrown everything at it to try and reduce the hyperpigmentation I’ve been left with. I’ve used lots of Ordinary products and still do. I’m halfway through my 1st bottle of this and you can definitely see the difference in my skin. I don’t think it will ever go away fully but how it has helped reduce it and given my skin a healthy glow I’m so happy with. I’ve spent £1,000’s on prescriptions and nonsurgical treatments to tackle this. Using this in the AM, retinol in the PM alongside the buffet and rosehip oil all from the ordinary works a treat for me - I’m 41 and my skin does not look 41 (so I’ve been told).

Soooo good
Feels great on the skin, takes a while to absorb but well worth. Only for PM use! Well done Ordinary.

Best vitamin C on the market
The best vit C. My skin got better after a few days - scarring and pigmentation. Love it.

Curious
I can't say why, I normally use products containing propanediol and they feel just fine, but with this one, I'm still not sure. I have it for a year or so and still haven't figured out how to properly use it - mostly I feel uncomfortable with it, tacky and covered in impervious membrane. I trust the vitamin C concentration is really high. The solution is also highly viscose, so I wouldn't recommend using it before serum. My skin is healthy and looks nice, but I can't tell what role this product plays in that :)

Great!
I was hooked on another fabulous Vitamin C serum (Mario Badescu) and hesitant to change to this one, but since I already tried a couple of The Ordinary products and found them to be very effective, I did give it a chance. I didn’t regret it, this is as good for a third of the price. I use a few drops in the AM.
