Providing vital protection from chlorinated and salt water, the Swimcap Water Resistant Mask was originally developed by Philip Kingsley at the request of the first US Olympic Synchronized Swimming Team; it’s designed to be water-resistant, prevent against colour fading and provide UV protection.
The strand-shielding cream is powered by a cocktail of strengthening hydrolyzed elastin, moisturising castor oil and fatty acid-rich olive oil to counter breakage and boost shine. Forget post-swim straw-like strands, your hair will be left looking radiant and feeling glossy! As well as shielding your strands from UV rays, chlorine and salt water, it also helps to protect against discolouration which means it’s perfect for blondes — rest assured, the mask will not react to chlorine or turn your hair green!
Apply in sections to damp hair and comb through. Leave the treatment on your hair to guard against sun and water damage, while sunbathing and swimming. To remove, rinse well then double-shampoo using the appropriate Philip Kingsley Shampoo, for your hair texture. Follow with conditioner and scalp toner.

Good product but smells terrible
Used this product to help protect my hair when I was swimming in chlorine pools a lot. It definitely helped keep my hair from drying out but the product had a horrible smell which will put me off repurchasing

Best high end curl serum
I’ve tried so many serums - and so many leave my 3b-3c curls crispy. Not this - restores my curl pattern abs lasts such a long time with a small amount needed - brilliant product. Constant repeat purchase.Â

Worth the money
My hair is very dry, coloured and curly, and this protective mask works so well against sun and swimming damage. Easy to wash out and isn’t like a rock hard gel - love it.Â

Good product, wish it was bigger
Easy to apply and smells nice. Only negative is I wish it came in a larger size / you got more for you money, as I get through it too quickly given I go swimming 3 x per week.

Good for a slick back
Love this for a slick back bun on a sunny day. I’m very prone to burning on my scalp (parting) but in the sun the other day it seemed ok. Will need it to get hotter before I can be sure!

Nice
I swim a few times a week and struggle to wear a cap as the feeling gives me the ick. I started using this about two months ago and I can definitely tell the difference. My hair is less dry overall. The smell is quite unpleasant but as I was my hair directly after swimming it isn’t so bad!Â

Great product
I always take this on holiday with me when I know I’ll be going in the pool or sea! It protects my hair from the salty or chlorine water and leaves it feeling so soft! Smells nice too!Â
