Cleansing and clarifying, this anti-dandruff shampoo has been specially formulated to remove the irritation and potential embarrassment that dry, flaky scalps too often bring. Developed by ‘The Hair Doctor’, Philip Kingsley, whose work centred around scalp (as well as hair) heath, this formula was originally created for Sir Laurence Olivier. Unlike other dandruff treatments, Flaky Itchy Scalp Shampoo does not dry out the hair or strip it of colour, gently cleansing with specialised ingredients instead and removing build up and irritation, so effectively that 99% of those tested in a consumer trial said that it cleared their flaky scalp. With a delicate apple fragrance, this can be used every day as your main shampoo, or in conjunction with the shampoo recommended for your hair texture. Apply to wet hair
Lather well with a gentle kneading of the scalp
Rinse and repeat if necessary
Follow with the appropriate Philip Kingsley conditioner and scalp toner
Use daily to cleanse your scalp and thereafter at regular intervals as required
Aqua/Water/Eau, TEA-Lauryl Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, PEG-4 Rapeseedamide, Piroctone Olamine, Citric Acid, Parfum (Fragrance), Sodium Chloride.

Fav shampoo in travel size
I have this one in the 1L size in my bathroom and picked this one up for travelling. It has been a fav for years - kept my scalp less sensitive and does not dry my hair out. No other shampoo can replace it yet!

Does the job
My teen son loves sachajuan but it's always out of stock so tried this instead. He says it's ok and helps reduce flaky scalp but not as effective as sachajuan.

Must need for a flaky scalp
I have naturally fine oily hair which requires lots of products which can dry out my scalp and make it flaky. This calms my scalp and I use a scalp massager to really get it into my scalp.
