Cleansing and clarifying, this anti-dandruff shampoo has been specially formulated to remove the irritation and potential embarrassment that dry, flaky scalps too often bring. Developed by 'The Hair Doctor', Philip Kingsley, whose work centred around scalp (as well as hair) heath, this formula was originally created for Sir Laurence Olivier. Unlike other dandruff treatments, Flaky Itchy Scalp Shampoo does not dry out the hair or strip it of colour, gently cleansing with specialised ingredients instead and removing build up and irritation, so effectively that 99% of those tested in a consumer trial said that it cleared their flaky scalp. With a delicate apple fragrance, this can be used every day as your main shampoo, or in conjunction with the shampoo recommended for your hair texture. Apply to wet hair
Lather well with a gentle kneading of the scalp
Rinse and repeat if necessary
Follow with the appropriate Philip Kingsley conditioner and scalp toner
Use daily to cleanse your scalp and thereafter at regular intervals as required
Aqua/Water/Eau, TEA-Lauryl Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, PEG-4 Rapeseedamide, Piroctone Olamine, Citric Acid, Parfum (Fragrance), Sodium Chloride.

It really works
Having a dry scalp that is flared up by stress, I felt more stressed trying to find something that actually helps but I have repurchased this four times now it is that good. It smells really nice and cleans your hair without that stripped feel. I use it every other day and have not had a dry flaky scalp since. Worth every penny!
