Who knew your pillowcase could be the most important part of your skin (and hair!) regime? Discovering this first-hand, Slip’s co-founder and acne sufferer Fiona Stewart was prescribed a silk pillowcase by her dermatologist. Unable to find one, she sourced the finest silk she could and wrapped her pillow in it – and the results were so dramatic and immediate that she launched Slip. Maintaining a mantra of ‘beauty, not bedding’ Slip offers sumptuous pillowcases unlike any other, working to protect your skin and maintain your mane as you slumber. Made from 100% pure mulberry silk – developed and refined over 10 years for ultimate quality – this will prevent your pillow from drawing moisture from your face and damaging your hair (as cotton can) for your best ever beauty sleep.

We spend a third of our lives in bed. By the time we’re 60, most of us will have slept for an average of 20 years. Given how well-acquainted this makes us with our pillows, it’s worth investing in the best pillowcase possible.

Cotton cases can draw moisture from the face, hair and scalp, whereas Slip’s Silk Pillowcases are made from 100% pure mulberry silk, which is a breathable, natural temperature regulator. Gentle on skin and hair, this clever material helps to age-defy while reducing sleep-induced facial creases and stopping strands from being twisted and damaged throughout the night. Tested by an independent third-party lab, Slip's Pure Silk Pillowcases were shown to absorb significantly less face cream than the average cotton pillowcase, all while creating 43% less friction too! This means less inflammatory stress on your skin, and less stress on your hair – in fact, if you’ve splurged on a fancy blow dry, this will ensure that it stays intact, saving you from waking up with a bedhead. Specially commissioned, the silk used is made to exacting standards – developed and refined over ten years to achieve the ultimate combination of shine, thickness, softness and durability. In a spectrum of sublime shades – from ‘Plum’ to ‘Rose Gold’ via ‘Silver’, 'Black' and traditional ‘White’ – there’s a queen-sized (20" x 30") silk treat to suit every bedroom aesthetic.

100% Mulberry Silk.
