Great for under make-up
I have oily, sensitive and acne prone skin and La Roche-Posay suncreams are the only ones I can use on a daily basis without causing a reaction, so always have a few in rotation. My go to is the oil control gel-cream for no make-up days, but haven't found one of theirs that sits well under make-up. Despite this one not being in their oil control range, it is excellent for oily skin and really feels like nothing on the skin, even when applied liberally. I have tested it under a full face of make up across a 12 hour day and it doesn't cause additional oiliness, breakouts or the make-up to pill or breakdown, so definitely a repeat purchase for me. I have knocked off a star due to the size and price. All the rest of the LRP suncreams are 50ml and didn't realise until I had bought it that this is 40ml - the bottle is tiny! Using the recommended amount and using daily, I think I will be lucky to get 2 weeks from this and due to the hard plastic case, I can't cut open to get 100% of the product out. So while it is worth it for days I wear make-up, I will stick with the oil control gel cream for everyday as it is larger, cheaper and in a tube so can ensure you get all the product out.

i really love this version, it genuinely feels like nothing on the skin once absorbed which i really like. my only issue is the price and the fact it burns my eyes if i put it too close, which their uvmune range doesnt do.

LRP has the best sunscreens when it comes to uv protection, and they get better and better every year. This one is not an exception. Usually if buy oily skin formulations but this one is surprisingly light and my skin loves it.
