Apply the sculpting shades under cheekbones, jawline, sides of nose, in the crease of the eyes, and under the lower lash line to hug the bones deepening the natural shadows to enhance the bone structure. Use Sculpting shades alone, or blended together for a three dimensional contour. Apply the highlight colors to the high planes of the face, where you want to reflect light. Swipe blush on the apples of the cheeks, blending back toward the ears.

love the contour shades, but not a fan of the highlighters
I think this is a great compact palette especially for makeup artists or people whose skintone might change quite a bit throughout the year as the three contour shades will cover a wide range of skintones. However, I am not a big fan of the highlighters, they are a bit dry and chunky for my liking, hence the four stars.

The colours in this palette are beautiful and go well together, and the cardboard magnetic packaging makes it great for travelling with, but the powders in this palette seem drier and more powdery than the individual Kevyn Aucoin items I've tried. The brand makes some of the best contour and highlighter powders on the market, so I'd recommend getting singles of those instead.

I was really excited to purchase this palette and I wasn't disappointed. It really is the perfect contour shade especially for lighter skin tones. The blush is gorgeous and I didn't even expect the highlighter to be this good because often times at least one product in palettes like this isn't as good as the rest. So the perfect all-in-one. I even use it as eyeshadow.
