Based in self-professed ‘Babe HQ’ in Melbourne, frank body begun its life when five friends had an (excellent, might we add) idea over drinks – a fun, natural, saturate-free coffee scrub. Oh, and they called him frank. A ladies’ man through and through, frank has been ‘getting babes dirty ever since’ (his words, not ours). Expanding into skin care, make up and now hair care, frank body’s mission to keep you and the environment happy with naturally-derived, good-for-you ingredients has not faltered. The brand’s new AHA Exfoliating Scalp Serum is bringing the power of your favourite skin care superheroes to your mane. The secret to a healthy head of hair is a healthy scalp after all, and this gently exfoliating serum rids your scalp of flakes and irritation to reveal glossier, stronger strands.
Packed with naturally-derived ingredients designed to slough away dead skin cells and nourish a sensitive scalp, frank body’s AHA Exfoliating Scalp Serum brings all the targeted goodness of a skin care serum to your hair. The water-based formula gently breaks down dead skin to reveal a flake free head and lots of shine.
Healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp, which is why this easy-to-apply serum contains prebiotics. Not just good for your gut, prebiotics work to balance your skin’s microbiome — that’s the millions of bacteria and fungi that make up your skin flora. While that might sound... well, kind of gross, your skin’s microbiome is actually essential to its health and happiness. When it's thrown out of whack by harsh, drying products or environmental changes, your skin can easily become dry and irritated. To complement these prebiotics is lactic acid, a beloved AHA that gently exfoliates your scalp for a clearer, flake-free head.
