Fanstastic Lipstick & Colour
Despite the previous reviewer, I absolutely adore this lipstick. I had been using gloss for years and then tried this by chance and I am now obsessed with the colour 'Hot Cranberry' which is a wonderfully orangey/red, although not something I would have originally gone for but just went for it on one of those days when you feel like a change. I find it fantastically moisturizing and it stays forever gradually leaving a stain but not with that 'parched' look nor without being one of those awful drying gloopy long staying type lipsticks. Although it is expensive, I was so paranoid that it would be discontinued, I brought 6 and have them in the car, handbags, so I am never without it. Normally one can get swayed off colours after a while, but I have been using this for a year now and it cheers me up anytime I use it through the day and I am always complimented on it, so I cannot rate it highly enough.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT
This is the first ByTerry lipstick I bought. For £33.50, I expected something of excellent quality. This is supposed to be an Age-Defense Lipstick with Nutri-Replenishing High Color and Hydra-Volumizer. So, a lot of claims here... I am a red-lipstick aficionado. I looked at the Cranberry and was going to buy that, but at the last minute changed my order to Frenetic Vermilion - all because in the description it is described as "a classic scarlett red"... It is NOT a classic Scarlett red - it is an orange-red - big difference. Frenetic Vermillion is orange red, it doesn't have pigmentation like what I expected and it doesn't even feel particularly hydrating on the lips. I much prefer the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks - beautifully pigmented, so creamy, glide onto the lips, feel so luxurious and last all day. Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are so similar in quality and pigmentation to Tom Ford lipsticks - both brands being excellent quality. This ByTerry lipstick is a huge disappointment and waste of money. It does not feel hydrating; it's not pigmented like I expected and the Frenetic Vermilion is NOT a classic Scarlett red. It looks horrible on - really cheap - like a drug-store product that lacks pigmentation and hydration. If I wanted an orange-red, I would have bought Tom Ford Flame. I wanted a scarlett red and this ByTerry Frenetic Vermillion does not tick any boxes for me. Perhaps this was an anomoly. I will buy Cranberry in my next CB order, test that out and see if I can come back and give better feedback. Until then, I suggest Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks as they are absolutely gorgeous and worth every penny.
