Formulated with rice protein and coconut water rather than salt, this ultra-fine mist is the secret to loose, beachy waves without stiffness or crunch. Enriched with OUAI's signature Smart Technology, a cocktail of amino acids, tamarind seed, keratin, ama oil, hibiscus and jasmine, this spray tames as it tousles for beautiful bounce. As if that wasn't enough, an infusion of the beloved North Bondi fragrance means that zesty notes of bergamot, Italian lemon and rose de mai will follow you long after your final spritz.
Shake it up. Spritz onto dry or damp hair from root to tip. Scrunch or twist for easy, undone texture and enhanced natural waves. For more definition, use with a diffuser or before heat styling for extra hold.

Lightweight, nice scent, light hold
Same scent as the OUAI leave in conditioner so handy to use together. You only need a light hand otherwise it will leave some residue. Holds light waves, and gives hair some texture without making it look unclean. Will repurchase.Â

Leaves my hair dry
I've been using the OUAI Wave Spray Luxe 50ml for a few weeks now, and while it does create defined waves, it unfortunately makes my hair feel quite rough. The texture is not as smooth as I'd hoped, leaving my hair feeling somewhat dry and brittle. The product does deliver on its promise of enhancing waves, but the trade-off in texture is a downside for me. If you have dry or fine hair, you might want to consider this before purchasing.

Good for holiday
I took this on holiday and it gave my hair a nice wave. It gives some texture to the hair without being too dry or sticky feeling. However my hair did look quite frizzy at times and I had to use an oil to calm it downÂ

Wonderful
I tried this out as an alternative to sea salt spray when styling my short, cropped style, as the use of rice protein instead of salt captured my attention, thinking this would offer better benefits to my hair whilst still achieving my desired style - definitely ticked this box. Really happy with the styling results and my hair feels healthier!

Holiday must-have
If I'm going somewhere hot on holiday I always take a bottle of Ouai wave spray, it's perfect for days where you want minimal styling and no heat damage. It has a lovely scent and creates beachy waves that aren't crunchy.

Nice sea salt spray
I really like this - smells nice and creates nice texture in my wavy hair! Sometimes can be a bit crunchy but that is often the case with these sprays! This smaller size is perfect to keep in a toilet bag and lasts a really long time.

Tried this twice. Both times I loved it and helped my waves feel natural and not heavy as I didn't need to use too many products
