Using a kabuki brush, dip the brush in the powder and tap off the excess. Apply using circular motions all over the face, working from the centre outwards or else you can just focus on certain areas like the t-zone, under eyes or cheeks.

This has been my go to setting powder for a while now. I love that more natural glow, over full matte, and this really allows you to layer to create whatever kind of look you want!

Lightweight and not cakey
I’ve been a firm devotee of Laura Mercier’s setting powder but bought this as an option to carry in my makeup bag that is a small size and not messy, and this does the trick. Goes on pretty lightly and doesn’t cake

NYX HD Finishing Powder translucent
I bought this to try as I usually use the Charlotte Tilbury powder but didn’t want to spend so much. It’s very fine , goes in quite nice but you do need to watch to not use too much as it looks a bit white! I did find that I still got oily quickly with this power . Good value for money.

Price Friendly finishing powder
This is a quite price friendly powder that sets/finishes your makeup and smoothes everything out without skin looking dry/powdery. Good alternative to some of the more expensive brands.

Finishing touches at good price point
This powder from NYX is great for setting down/finishing off makeup application. I prefer this in the pressed version so I can also bring it along when I go out for quick touch-ups. It is easy to apply (and non-messy in the pressed version) and makes everything seem smoother and less textured. It does not accentuate fine wrinkles. This is a good alternative to finishing powders from more pricy brands.

Good Finishing Powder
It's a decent finishing powder and helps makeup stay in place. It can be difficult to get out due to being pressed, so isn't suitable for baking makeup. It's lightweight enough that my skin doesn't feel cakey, and it doesn't give me that white flash in pictures either.
