Very good
4I’m not the biggest primer wearer - with oily skin, I find that sometimes even mattifying ones just slide off when my oils come thru. I got sample of this one and was impressed to the point of buying a full size. Tip- apply The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% and Zinc 1% and then this primer - it really helped with my oil not coming thru as fast as much.Â

The best primer I’ve used
5Wow so so surprised by this . It has become one of my favourites products and it makes my Foundation last. Highly recommend !Â

4I did read other reviews which were a bit mixed, but leaning towards negative. But thought I’d give it a go, I don’t think it’s to bad I have combo skin and to be fair to it I do find it does a good job at keeping my skin matte but have to say in this warmer weather drying my skin I found this drys it more and my foundation has looked flakey in areas, so using another primer on my drier arreas and use this more in my t zone area

Not great
1I bought this after glowing (compensated) reviews on other websites (I must stress) and I really do think there is a conflict of interest in reviewers who get free products / paid for reviews because it is getting harder and harder to trust reviews. However, I bought this product with my own money, so I digress. I really did not like this primer. It's half gone already, and most of that has been trying to find a foundation (water based, silicone based, bb cream, etc. etc.) that will play well with it. Most of my foundations wear weird with it to the point where I had to take everything off and start again without the primer. The ones that do not automatically look weird do not last well at all. Disclaimer, I have super, super oily skin. I probably get oily about 1/2 hours into wear of any liquid foundation. This does nothing, nothing to stop oiliness (contrary to compensated reviews I have seen on other websites) and yet somehow interacts weirdly with other products and dries out just enough to make any powder applied look instantly cakey and powdery. As always, great service from Cult Beauty, but I find reviews on other websites to be very hyped up and the actual product to be very underwhelming. And as always, YMMV, but I am not impressed with this primer.
