It crumbles and is not really waterproof, so you can still get stains on your face in the evening.Â

worst mascara I've ever used
was excited to try this because kush mascara seems to be such a cult staple and i've been needing a waterproof mascara. unfortunately, this mascara is awful. it's not waterproof in the slightest - quite possibly the least waterproof mascara i've ever tried. it's super wet and clumpy as well and just leaves my lashes short and stubby and clumped together. the packaging is also unnecessarily heavy, what you'd expect from a refillable product, but it's not refillable so it's just gonna stay on the planet forever and outlive me :(

Fine but a little average
Considering the hype I was pretty disappointed by this mascara, I think for the price it's fine, I didn't think it was the best or worst mascara I'd ever use, it was good for volume but wouldn't be one of my go-tos.

Good - but not on a hot day
I have a love and hate with mascara's and end up sticking on false lashes typically. I have very straight lashes so I am one to look for a mascara that can not only hold a curl but also does not smudge (as my eyelashes rub under my eyes almost due to my eye shape!) This was not waterproof on a hot day that I did try this out, so removing this was pretty easy in that sense. But this did really make my lashes look thicker, blacker and longer. But mascara isn't something I would perhaps repurchase for myself (but definitely for my makeup kit).

Not waterproof but a great finish
I can only really wear tubing mascaras as everything else smudges on me, and as this didn't hold curl for me and didn't seem that waterproof I tested this on a friend for another opinion. While the finish and look of this mascara is lovely, it just isn't waterproof. It didn't stand up to a watery eye and ended up moving around, so not one to go for if you're really in need of a long-standing waterproof formulation. It can be a little crumbly too, so you want to take a bit of time getting used to the wand and how to apply it so it works for you. Really, this is probably about a 3.5 out of 5 but I'm rounding up as the finish is lovely, you just may as well go for the original formula!

Great mascara.... just not waterproof
I like the brush, I like the way it makes my lashes look, unfortunately for me, it smudged and crumbled.

Nearly!
I'm a hairdresser and can never get mascara to stick to my lashes as it basically gets melted off by a hairdryer this is really good for being waterproof that isn't my issue! but it dries out so quickly and after a small amount of time you almost feel like you want to add water too it! I've been spraying mine with setting spray!

The worst mascara ever...
I tried to love it, but just like my last boyfriend, it wasn’t for me. I only use waterproof mascaras as I have very thin, sparse, straight lashes and I need that extra help to keep them up for the whole day. I have the original formula which I got as part of a set and it works EXACTLY the same. I really think someone mixed up the formulas. I refuse to believe that Milk Makeup would put out such an awful product. If you’re looking for an amazing waterproof mascara, try waterproof versions of L’Oréal Lash Paradise, Maybeline Falsies or Rocket Lash or higher-end like Better Than Sex. Hope this helps.

Not worth it
Wanted to like this so much since jumping on the Milk bandwagon, but unfortunately it just really isn't worth it. Not waterproof or long lasting, does nothing impressive for the lashes (no extra length or volume), bottle is very heavy and just not easy to use at all. Really disappointed and wish I could get my money back!

Not waterproof!
Like many others, I bought this thinking it would be great for summer as it’s waterproof... Turns out even when it’s not rainy it smudges so I’m very disappointed with my purchase.
